Evangeline 8

Evangeline adjust the strap of her dress, eyes wandering around for her mother. She was ready to go home now. Her dark eyes roam the familiar room until it lands on her sister, the two sister exchange glances but Evan was the first to look away. She wipes a fallen tear at the back of hand, pulling her phone out to call an Uber.

Evangeline walks outside when her phone beeps indicating that her Uber was waiting for her outside. She sighs , tucking a lose strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Where do you think your going ? "

Evangeline didn't have to look to know who it was, only one man voice was able to make her knees week. She hiccups holding in a sob, she reaches for the handle of the door but was stoped by his big hands on her's.

She could feel the body heat of him radiating off him onto her. The hair on her arms were now standing tall, were his hand was on her felt like burning flames, and her heart felt like it was going to explode. It was like every time he touched her she loses her train of thoughts.

"I asked you a question Eva."

The soft tone of his voice interrupts making her eyebrow quirk, he only called her that when he wasn't being a complete asshole. Her lips press in thin line as she finally gained the courage to face him.

The two pair stared at each other, the longer they did this the more heated Evangeline got. The longer she she stared at those eyes that haunted her, the more anxious she got. Darn him and his good looks. Why the hell did he had to look so good in a suit, and those lips that she yarned. Fuck look away!

Swallowing hard she does so, "Why do I feel like this—-Like I have no control of my feelings and body, whenever your around? I—I don't know how to explain it but, I know for sure I'm not imaging all this in my head. You play this dark twisted game with me like I'm some sort of experiment b-but I don't know" Eva pauses to catch her breath and continues "Then your e—eyes they I don't know I must be seeing things but they turn red. The w-weather! Yes the weather, I don't know I must be crazy. But when your mad the clouds go dark as i-if a tornado is coming and happy the sun out. Explain."

Midnight smirks his fingertips grazing his beard, "Your imagination is very big, I admire that."

"No! Don't do that."

He Cocks his head to the side his beautiful eyes gazing at her leaving her in a trance, "Do what Eva?"

"That whole sexy thing." She points out.

Midnight chuckles " Come Eva I know-"

Evangeline cuts him off " N-No! P—please just no. I don't know why I even bothered wasting my breathing.

She reaches for the door but felt nothing , "Where's my Uber? What did you do?"

"I cant have my property being seen taking such a thing, it's disgraceful and a embarrassment. Disobey and I kill your mother and sister. And that's a threat, now do you understand ?" Midnight sneered at her, stepping up so they were chest to chest. Evangeline stares at him in horror, taking a step back from the beast.

"I don't think you understand." Midnight harshly grasp onto her hips, pulling her flushed against him. His breath fanned her ear, "Answer." He darkly demands, and she shivers with a nod.

"Good." He murmurs, cupping an handful of her ass and she gasps.

"Now let's get you home."

The car ride to her house was silent and timid. Evangeline made it her mission to stay as far away from him as possible, she tried sitting in the back seat of the car. But sadly their wasn't any back seat.
When The car finally came to a stop in front of her house, she wasted no time reaching for the door but was quickly shut close by the devil himself.
