"I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night"
Draco's smile widened further. "Do you really?"
Harry nodded, unable to speak.
Draco hugged him again. "Oh, Harry, that's wonderful."
Harry blinked several times, and hugged him back. "May I ask why it's wonderful?"
"Because I love you too. I have since probably last year, I noticed you around school and started to pay more attention to you and you were just so perfect and now that I've really gotten to know you you're even more perfect than I thought and I love you."
The thoughts were so much like Harry's own that he couldn't breathe.
"Do you have to stay here?"
"They'd prefer I did, but they can't make me."
"Let's go."
"Go where?" Draco was already following him, seeming enchanted.
"We're going to watch the stars together."
Draco smiled brightly at this statement, and the two boys left the hospital and the horrors of the future behind them as they ran off.
"This isn't the way to your house," Draco commented as they ran together.
"Nope."
Harry couldn't face his family right now. Not with all the hell that was tormenting his life. Draco was dying and Harry wished he was instead and he still had fading bruises on his jaw from Crabbe and he was a mess. Right now he just wanted to lay with Draco and watch the stars and forget the world around them.
They ran until they found a field, and Harry collapsed to the ground, exhausted and drained. Draco sat down next to him, wrapping his arms around his own legs and watching him.
Harry flopped back on the ground, staring up at the stars above him.
"I would give you all the stars in the sky if I could," he murmured.
"I would give you a galaxy," Draco replied.
