20 Things about me that will sound really snobby, without proper grammar or eloquence:

1) I love cute small asian plushy things, like cellphone charms

2) Haruki Murakami is my greatest writing idol, inspiration and influence, (but everybody knows that...)

3) I play guitar, drums, piano, write songs and sing in Japanese, English and whatever suits my fancy. I've released my first EP CD in 2012, which is sold-out now more or less, I also play in bands and perform. But....

4) I used to want to become a musician really badly, but now that's sitting in the dust for now, I'm settling down with my philosophical musings via literature, and we'll see where it takes me

5) I love giant peaches. My favourite fruit!

6) I'm the pioneer cell phone novelist in the English speaking world, bringing over the literary movement from Japan

7) I named my car Mochi (which is a fluffy round Japanese dessert) I name my guitars and my gadgets too. They all have Japanese female names... shhhh.

8) I'm super snobby now when it comes to books, anime, movies, etc. I won't accept anything without very complex, deep and challenging themes or philosophies, or specifically calm, artistic, eloquent and intelligent sounding styles. I read literary fiction pretty much exclusively nowadays or I feel my own writing skill leaving me as I'm easily influenced LOL

9) I've gotten into classical and jazz music recently, even though I swore as a teen that I would be a rocker for life... (I used to listen to punk rock, pop punk, metalcore, screamo, emo, you name it) getting old? Or just more tasteful hahaha!

10) I don't actually drink or like coffee much even though it is prevalent in a lot of my stories. I am a tea drinker in its purest form

11) I have a lot of philosophies about perception, identity, meaning of life, the world and its system, and so on, and sound like I know what I'm talking about most of the time, but not sure if I really do sometimes

12) I am Christian, in the purest sense: I don't believe in the idea of system just like all systems that have been established by man, with corrupted politics, finances, structure, personal motives and so on

13) I am a health nut, I eat really really healthy - salad, tons of veggies, fruits, lemon water in the mornings, tea all the time, lots of juice, little sugar, little salt, little oil, little meat,.. I just need to improve my sleeping time which is usually around 12 or 1.

14) I love traveling and have been to most states in the US, Bahamas, Mexico City, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and maybe a few more... Looking to add Greece, England, Israel, Taiwan, Singapore, ASAP!

15) I studied as an Interior Designer once, but I wasn't very good at 3D and I also worked as a web and graphic designer before... I also used to be a fine arts major and I draw a lot, but definitely haven't spent enough time on it to become a professional!

16) I studied French for 10 years but then forgot it all....

17) I'm skinny and wish I was fatter... I'm one of the few people who wish there was a diet or program to gain weight.. No matter what I eat or take it doesn't actually make me any fatter... There was some presentation and the person was like basically I will give you ten dollars and help you lose weight too. I was like no, I would give you ten dollars to help me gain weight!

18) I am obsessed with noodles. In Japan, I was known as the noodle monster. I could devour noodles any kind of noodles, noodles in soup, noodle dishes, soumen, ramen, soba, vermicelli, udon, flat rice noodles, whatever! I will eat it all and eat so much it would be scary

19) Once upon a time years ago, when the Apple craze started, I was like... heck no! My PC works great and works fine, Apple is too mainstream and pretentious... and then years later I now have a Macbook, an iMac, an iPad, an iPod touch, iPhone 4, iPhone 5S (of course not bought all at once). I look at it and go what am I doing? It's just too good for all the multimedia stuff I do though...

20) I feel like I was once a lot more emotional. I would be in depression as an artist-type, I would get riled up and inspired and feel all my dreams and passions coursing through me and feel like running across an open grass field. I would be in love, I would be heartbroken, I would tear from watching touching movies and drama or listening to great music. Now I feel like I've become Naoki in my novel, Espresso Love; in a way, I guess I had written about myself. I'm well connected to philosophies, the intellect, the greater human consciousness, myth and literature, and whatnot but... it's hard for me to feel emotions. I teach people to control their emotions, manage their lives and maximize their potentials as thinking, intellectual human beings, but I still do emphasize how important emotions are in remaining human. But personally, I have gone too far on the intellectual side I think
