Y/N POV

i invite finn over after we are done skating to get something to eat. we go to my home and order a pizza deal thing. 

"wanna play COD or something? while we wait for the food?" i suggest.

"heck yeah N/N" he smiles widely 

we go into my gaming room and i set up my PC with my streaming crap on twitch. 

might as well stream, as it's been a while.

i put on my headset and pass finn another one i have. 

"hey, guys!" i say to the stream as people start joining.

"woah, this is sweet," finn whispers under his breath. 

i lightly giggle.

"this is finn, and he'll be joining me in gaming today."

finn waves to the camera, "uh, hey everyone." 

i laugh at his awkwardness.

finn and i ended up playing fortnite.. i know.. but it's what the watchers wanted.. hehe

20 minutes in, i hear the doorbell ring.

"i'll get it. keep me safe," i say as i speed to the door.

"hello, that'll be-" he stops as he makes eye contact with me and spaces out a bit.

that was until finns voice broke him out of his trance, "N/N everything good there?"

"yeah, all good." i say back.

"19.04" he finishes

i hand him a 20 and tell him to keep the change, "thanks, dude."

i say as he smirks at me and leaves back to his car. 

"that was so weird," i state as i enter the room. 

i place the food on a table and head back to my spot next to finn.

"what's up?" he ask curiously while looking at me.

"just some weird curly-haired kid that spaced out when he saw me, then he smirked when he heard you scream if all was good," i say in one breath. 

finns POV

curly haired kid.. pizza delivery kid..?

GATEN!

it snaps in my head, totally forgot he has work today..

i smirk and Y/N notices.

"what is it?" she asks with a raised eyebrow.

"oh nothing, let's eat!" i say as i stand and make my way to the table with the food.

Y/N just shrugged it off and followed my actions.

we ate and continued our stream for about another hour.. or we thought.

"thanks for joining me, weirdos! finn say bye." Y/N says as she puts her arm around my shoulders.

i blush as i wave to the camera.

Y/N turns off the stream and still has her arm around my shoulder.

she notices and quickly puts her arm back to her side.

"s-sorry" she apologizes quickly. 

i smirk and put my arm around her and ruffle her hair with my free hand, "all good N/N." 

"hey!" she says as she pulls my arms off of her. 

i did not realize, but i started to lean in. 

she stopped me once my lips were about 3 inches from hers. 

Y/N pov

"um, finn.. what are you doing?" i say blushing knowing exactly was he was about to do. 

"oh um, sorry. i- we-" he says stumbling on his words. 

i giggle and his confusion turns into a slight smirk. 

"don't worry about it wolfhard." i blush as i say his ever so famous nickname. 

we did not realize that it was dark out. 

"woah how long have we've been playing?"

he looks out the window wide-eyed, "oh shit!"

i check the time to see it is almost 8 pm, freaking early sunsets got me thinking it's like midnight already.

"so... now what?" i say. 

finns pov

"um.. i'm not sure.."

if i am honest, i was thinking of asking to stay over.. but i was not sure if she would be comfortable with that. 

"um, well, i should um probably skate home now." i smile at her 

i start to grab my things when she stops me.

"um, actually.. w-would you m-mind staying um the n-night?" she asks stuttering as cute as ever..

wait what 

i don't answer after a couple of seconds and her face drains.

"oh, u-um never-nevermind, i'm sorry," she says slightly shaking and starts walking to the front door.

i grab her hand and she turns around and faces me, my hand still wrapped around hers.

"i-i wouldn't m-mind staying over.." i give her a light smile and i feel the tension from her hand relax. 

"that's great. thank you, wolfhard." she says with her ever so mesmerizing smile.

her smile gave me this feeling in my stomach that i just could not explain..

this is going to be an interesting night.
