POV Ciel

I was going through a series of documents concerning the Funtom company when Sebastian knocked on the door to my office."Come in." I commanded, sighing at the unwanted interruption. "Young master, you have received a letter." He approached, holding out a silver platter with the letter. I picked it up, inspecting the wax seal. I frowned, as I recognised the Queens seal. I took a knife, and opened the letter. I took it out of the envelope, reading the letter:

Dear boy,

I have some bad news, I'm afraid. There has been a series of disappearances that have been a concern of mine. The British people are growing restless for the answers, as many who have disappeared are fellow nobles. I apologise that this letter is not of a cheerful nature, but I grow weary of the mysterious circumstances of the disappearances. And this is why I ask you to work with my Spider as to get to the bottom of this. I ask that you find out whoever is causing this, and bring them to justice. Please deal with this as quickly as possible. I have already let my Spider know of the situation, and you are to meet him in your town house.

Yours sincerely,

Queen Victoria.

I scrunched up the letter, agitated. "My lord?" Sebastian said, with fake concern and evident amusement. "Get me my coat. We are off to the town house." I stated authoritatively.

"Of course, my lord. But may I ask why?"

"We are going to see that Spider." I spat out the name with venom, making Sebastians' eyebrow twitch at the prospect.

At the Townhouse

We had arrived inside when I was bombarded by the idiot who looked after it. I often wondered why I even let him, he is a nuisance. "Ciel! It has been too long!" Soma cried, crushing me in a death grip."Please my prince, you are crushing him." Agni pried Soma off of him, concern for my well being obvious. I coughed in annoyance. "I'll be fine as long as you don't do that again."

"Ah yes, master Ciel, we have two guests with us. Someone who goes by the name Alois Trancy?" Agni informed. I sighed, placing my hand on my forehead."Let us go, Sebastian."

"Yes, my lord." I saw my butler grind his teeth, as he opened the door to the living room.

"Ah, Ciel. Its been too long."Alois stated, seemingly in one of his obnoxious moods.

"Aloise." I half-heartedly greeted. He pouted, crossing his arms.

"That's cold Ciel. And I was so looking forward to working this case with you." He huffed. His butler stood beside him. I observed both his and my butler give each other glares in hostility. Let us get this over with. I sat down on the sofa, as Sebastian stood behind me. Alois sat across fom me, swinging his legs childishly. "What do you know?" Alois chuckled in response. He beckoned his butler for some documents. I was then handed them, and I quickly scanned through the information. "So the culprit is suspected to be in a satanic cult." I stated, bored.

"Why, yes Ciel. Claude has worked out that he most likely will be stalking the streets of London tonight. So all we need to do is look." He stood up, and practically dragged me out of the townhouse."Come on Ciel, I want to get this over with." We then began to wonder aimlessly in search of the culprit. "You gained this information quickly, Aloise." I said with suspician. He merely hugged my arm tighter, smiling widely. "Well, that's because Claude is such a good butler. He was able to give me the information." He chirped happily. It was then that they heard footsteps approaching. Their steps were slow and deliberate, and splashed on the puddles of the stone beneath our feet. A dark silhouette could be seen amongst the darkness. We could not see his features, as he was shrouded in darkness. The man stopped, and a low chuckle resonated within the alleyway. Our butlers then stood in front of us. "Hmmmm, what have we here? Two little Earls seemed to have caught onto my recent... Activities. We will surely have to deal with this, won't we, Jacob?" The silhouettes deep voice seemed to echo from the surrounding walls. "Yes, Jacob. We must." A second voice, seemingly from the silhouette, chuckled. This voice was strained, and more high pitched.
