Depression, like anger, surfaces in many different forms. Being tired all the time and not wanting to do anything but lay in bed, feeling disconnected from people even though you're with them, being on the verge of tears all the time, loss of appetite or over eating, and increase in drug or alcohol use may be different ways individuals go through this phase.

You may even feel a bit hopeless. You'll begin to feel as though this is how you are now, and nothing can change that.

This second to last phase is one of the hardest to get past. But eventually everyone does, it just takes time. It takes every ounce of courage, strength, and time you have to make everything better.

So don't give up when it gets hard.

Instead, fight harder, fight stronger, and fight with pride.

Fight to be you again.
