Maggie's POV

It's my second week back at school and everything has been great. There's no Kay, and no drama. People started talking to me and asking for pictures. The popular girls started sitting with me at lunch.

"Hey Maggie! Hey Tanya!"  Stephanie, the cheer captain said. The small cheer team followed behind her.

"Hey guys" I smiled. Tanya surprising liked Stephanie. Knowing Tanya, I thought she would hate Stephanie and think she's a stuck up bitch. But in reality, Stephanie is just like us.

"So would you ever consider joining the team? I'm so tired of being captain and I think that you would make a great one" Stephanie said. I've always been my dream since middle school to be cheer captain, super popular, dating a jock. But now that I'm older, I don't want it as much.

"Uhh... I don't know. I'll think about it" I said. A lot of girls at school either hated and envied me or wanted to be my friend and adore me. All because Zach. I felt used either way. Girls envied me because their jealous and girls wanted to be my friend because I had a good amount of following on Instagram and was getting noticed everywhere. So I didn't wanna be rude but I felt like Stephanie was doing the same. I was just waiting for all the questions about Zach. I knew they were coming too.

"So how's your relationship with your famous boyfriend" Stephanie smiled. Yup. Here it is. I don't understand why people are so interested in me and Zach's personal life.

"It's great. We're doing just fine" I said.

"Really? Because I heard Zach was doped up in the hospital because of a fight" Stephanie replied.

"Where did you hear that at?" I asked. I don't understand how that got out.

"TMZ. It's all over YouTube too. Poor Zach" she said.

"Oh... damn, would you look at time... I gotta go call my mom for something" I fake smiled. I grabbed Tanya by the arm and went all the way to our lockers.

"What's up?" Tanya asked.

"I got to call Zach" I took my phone out my pocket and called him. After two rings he picked up.

"Hey babe" he said.

"Hi" I smiled. "So I just wanted to let you know that you're on TMZ"

"How?" He asked.

"Well there's pictures and videos of you in the hospital, saying things that you normally wouldn't say" I said.

"Damn. Well do they know that Jack was the one who beat me up?" Zach asked.

"No"

"Okay that's good. Aren't you at school though?" Zach asked.

"Yeah but im at lunch" I say.

"Oh ok" he said. "I wanna hug you so bad right now" he whined.

"I know. for the summer, I'll fly down to California" I say.

"I wish you didn't have to go to school" he said.

"Me too" I sighed. "Well I better go lunch is almost over"

"Aw okay I'll talk to you later" he said.

"I like you a whole lot" I say. I can hear him laugh a little. "What's funny" I smiled.

"I'm laughing because I like you way more" he hung up before I could argue with him about it.

"You need to set me up with Jonah" Tanya laughed.

"Just DM him" I shrugged. "He's always telling me to tell you to slide in his DMs"

"Really?? I'm doing it right now" Tanya pulled out her phone. I laughed and playfully rolled my eyes.
