June 20th 2018 (Clare's POV):
My condition had improved a lot since I'd last seen Avery, but I'd been trying to avoid socialising for as long as possible. I'd also taken a break from social media to give myself time to clear my head and get into a better state of mind. This isn't to say that I am, I'm a long way away, I know that it will take a while to get over what's happened, seeing Avery feels like an amendment.
I arrived at Avery's house, for the second time, to see a 'FOR SALE' sign outside as well as the sofas and grey rug that had been in her cramped living room the last time I was here. At the sight of the familiarity, I felt my heart skip a beat and my breath flutter, but reassurance was brought to me by Avery's face in the window. She wasn't looking for me, however, and she didn't notice me at first, but I could see an angry look written on her face before she slammed her phone down and scraped her hair back. Then our eyes met. I saw the anger drain from her as if she had seen the most amazing thing, 'must be looking in a mirror because that's surely not me' my inner voice said causing me to chuckle.
The next thing I knew, I was being twirled around in the middle of the road by Avery, her face radiant with joyousness and love. On putting me down, I thrust Avery into an intense kiss, pulling her back onto my car. Soft moans left her lips as she pulled deeper into the kiss. Her hands tangled in my hair as I pulled her closer by the waist rubbing my hands up and down her back.
"Oi fruitcakes! Get a fucking room fags!"
an aggressively deep voice yelled across the street, causing Avery and I to pull out of the kiss. He stuck his middle finger up and I was so taken aback that I accidentally let out a gasp of offence. The man across the street stood watching us, whilst lighting another cigarette and placing it between his lips.
"Are you done?" I said, looking him up and down, an over exaggerated look of disgust on my face.
"Done wiv wot? Fuck off" he replied, slouching down and pulling on the tabs of his hoodie.
"How about you?" I carried on, approaching him,
"I ain't got not a reason to go I'm just getting on with my day"
"It's her house" I argued, grabbing Avery's wrist and pulling her over to my side.
"Well why don't ya go in it then, no one wants to see some lesbos gettin it on"
Not knowing what to say, I wavered for a moment debating on whether to shove past him, or to turn back to my car.
"It's a bad example for the kids, if our population turns gay, there's no hope for the future"
I felt Avery tense up beside me and her trembling hand slip into mine, but I'd had enough, I slapped the cigarette out of the chav's hand. For a second, he looked startled, before slapping me back on my left cheek.
"Ohoho" I chuckled angrily, stepping back to only kick him where it hurts, he crippled over in pain and I made a run for it into Avery's house. I was greeted by five men at the door, all staring at the weird girl that had just flown through the door. I felt Avery's soft voice in my ear, "they're the moving men"

With a bag of frozen peas on my face, Avery and I decided to go and sunbathe in her back yard, seeing as the majority of her house had already been transported to her soon to be flat. We'd also discussed the flat, which apparently Avery had planned to move into a year ago, however due to mechanical issues, she'd ended up here. The flat was much closer to my house, which I was very happy with, it also meant that we'd be more likely to bump into each other in shops and cafes.
On the dry grass, underneath the apple tree, Avery and I shared kisses for hours, and when it began to go dark, we set out a picnic rug and watched "Friends" under the stars.

June 21st 2018:
I hadn't meant to have slept over at Avery's, it had just happened and with the rendezvous of the day before, I'm not sure I would've been able to stay alone. I was woken up by the sound of screeching children in the park behind Avery's house and when I'd checked my phone for the time, I'd seen that it was 04:28, what kind of parents let their kids out that early in the morning?! As I peppered small kisses along Avery's arm, her eyes had fluttered open, fighting against the blinding sun of British summers.
