Hello everyone, I've been working on this one for awhile so please don't judge... I didn't edit it very well so that might have to be another time. Anyway, I hope ya'll enjoy!

Roll down your window, you'll feel a breeze of some type, cold or warm. The breeze hits your face, your hair, and you feel like one day you can possibly fly high in the sky like a superhero. As if one day, you can reach the moon, and give it to your loved one because sometimes they deserve the moon, maybe even more than the moon. The radio is turned up just a bit more to combat the wind to play your favorite song, a mother is yelling at the kids for throwing food in the back of the red truck, making a mess. Then there's her, Tessa, sitting in the passenger seat, relieved that she is finally somewhere she has always wanted to be, away. It was a place Tessa didn't know very well from growing up in a small state called Iowa, somewhere not many people even know because it's just one of those places, nothing like New York, California, Florida, or Vegas. Just a small place of nothing but corn, and cows of course. Her neighbors were like family and her friends an hour away almost seemed like they were fifteen minutes from her.

Her neighbors were her favorite people ever, one of the only downsides from moving, along with her friends. She always went to her neighbors little blue house to get away. They were an old couple that had been in love since they were only thirteen years old, named Dorothy and Oscar, they were the true definition of love. Tessa's mother, Teresa, wasn't ever lucky with the love stuff, there were multiple boyfriends in out of the house, multiple left because of the rowdy children and Tessa digging into what the men were all of about so her mom wouldn't get hurt by them. Tessa didn't grow up knowing what love with a significant other was, she knew how to love family but could she ever love some boy or girl that comes into her life? She didn't even know about that one. Her neighbors really taught her what it was like, wanting to be with that person no matter what, always asking how their day was, their smile being the first thing they want to see when they wake up. She learned so much from them but still never got to have a real boyfriend in school.

She graduated last year and decided to go into a college online due to reasons at home so it wasn't like she could just go out and meet people easily. Although, she is going to attend some classes at a college nearby the town she is moving into, so she will finally get to meet people... not like she is very excited though. She had her friends from school, but there were only a couple of them as they weren't the most popular people. She never went to parties, just focused on her school work, art, and family. She didn't have any time to just go out and blackout from a long night of not drinking responsibly. It's not like she didn't want to or anything, she really did want to go out and have fun with her friends and maybe hook up with some random guy, but that was all a fantasy. Tessa had never even touched a boy, so of course there were no hook up stories for her to tell like her other friends did.

Her friends were wild, always trying to pull her to certain parties but she always refused. Her craziest friend was Bridget, a dark skinned bombshell with a beautiful face. Her face always seems to glow no matter, she doesn't even need to wash her face and she still looks like a goddess. Her figure is to die for and can make any man fall to his knees. Despite the fact she might look like a total bitch, she's the kindest person on earth. The other girl in her friend group is Isabelle, a blonde beauty with bright blue eyes. Of course her body is great too, which always caused Tessa to be confused about how she was even in that friend group with them. Isabelle was super smart too, she would've been a lot more popular if she wouldn't have shoved her face in books all the time. Then the last one of the friends is Rio, the stereotypical gay friend that tells it how it is. Tessa got him through a lot of hard times, especially coming out to his grandparents and dealing with bullying and he helped her right back, they were very close until he moved to New York with his boyfriend right after school. They will talk to each other occasionally but it isn't as much as they used to. Where is she moving to, you may ask? They are moving to sunny California, a huge change from before.
