Life In A New World, Why Am I Younger!?

No One's POV, ???

We return to our grand tale with our hero in the middle of a crater. His clothing is torn and his body covered in assorted injuries. He gets up and rubs his head before looking around, quickly noticing that his ki sense is going wild with high energy readings everywhere. "W...Where am I? I've never felt this many strong power levels in one place since- Wait, why is my voice higher pitched?!" Kuro says with a feeling of not being alone chilling his spine. He looks around when he finds a pond nearby. He washes the now dried blood off his face and what he sees in his reflection startles him. "I'm Young Again!!!" Kuro exclaims as he looks at his body. He can feel something moving behind him and sees that his tail is back as well. "How? How is this happening!?" Kuro sits down and grabs his head as he tries to process what happened leading up to this point. As he mutters to himself, an animal resembling a cat sits in a tree with a pack on it's back. This creature is known as an Exceed, a race of catlike animals that can naturally use one type of magic known as Aera. This Exceed has primarily black fur with a pair of light blue eyes that stare curiously at Kuro. The exceed wears a vest in blue with a grey pair of pants similar to the kind Kuro himself is wearing.. Kuro can feel eyes on him and he quickly spins. He fires ki blast at the branch the exceed was sitting on, startling them. When Kuro sees it was an animal he quickly runs and catches the exceed. "Hey! Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" Kuro asks with concern. The Exceed opens their eyes and jumps out of Kuro's arms, brandishing a small knife. "Hey! Hands off the fur bucko. You coulda just killed me with that magic of yours!" The exceed yells with a look of anger and a bit of fear is on their face. Kuro rubs the back of his head and sighs. "Sorry about that... I just thought that someone was creepily watching me." Kuro replies with a sincere tone of regret.

Line Break

The exceed sits on a boulder while Kuro sits on a broken tree. "So let me get this straight... You're an alien called a 'Saiyan' and during a fight you woke up here... And now you look younger? You know that makes no sense right?" The exceed replies making Kuro let out a frustrated shout. "I'm telling the truth!!" Kuro Kuro exclaims angrily, temporarily losing his cool due to the exceed's unwillingness to believe him. "Calm down kid, I believe ya! It's just kinda shocking to learn that other universe's exist out there..." The exceed replies quickly, feeling nervous that he'll get shot at again. "By the way, the name's Blackthorn. Remember it Kid." Blackthorn stands up and gets his small pack back on before sprouting his magical wings. "Wait! You're not even gonna help me find the nearest town?" Kuro calls out from the ground, his voice cracking slightly with fear of being lost. Blackthorn shakes his head and flies down to Kuro's level. "Kid, Will you leave me alone if I bring you to town?" He asks with an annoyed tone, which Kuro responds with a rapid nod. "Okay then, Better keep up then!" Blackthorn calls out before flying off. Blackthorn laughs quietly to himself, but is surprised to see Kuro flying right beside him, a black aura surrounding his body and applying a kind of pressure Blackthorn has never felt before. "Thanks for letting me tag along Blackthorn! You're such a big help!" Kuro says with a friendly smile and his tail swaying happily behind him. 'What else can this guy do!?' Blackthorn asks himself as he takes a map out of the side pouch of his pack to check their direction. "Alright kid, We need to keep hearing due North for awhile longer, but we'll need to land about half way for my magic energy to recharge by my estimate." Blackthorn informs Kuro, to which the Saiyan simply nods. "I could keep flying without getting tired. Just hop on my back." Blackthorn nods and sits on the Saiyan's back while holding onto Kuro's ripped clothing
