Just a little bit of your heart (x2)

Just a little bit of your heart is all I want

Just a little bit of your heart (x2)

Just a little bit is all I'm asking for

Everything leading up to the wedding was kind of a blur. You were so excited and never stopped talking about it. I smiled and nodded trying to feel excitement for you. But all I could think of was you and her kissing, the final moment when I completely lost you. You were so happy you didn't notice how horrible I was. I didn't want you to. You deserved all the happiness in the world. You asked if I could be the maid of honor because you wanted me to be apart of the wedding. She said she wanted her sister to be the maid of honor. You gave me a weak smile and kissed her on the lips saying it was ok. I don't think she ever liked me, and don't think she ever will. Sometimes I think she knows I love you, but she doesn't worry knowing you love her. I sat next to your mother during the rehearsal dinner. It wasn't hard trying not to cry, I had no tears left. Crying yourself to sleep can do that to you. Your mother held my hand tightly throughout the whole dinner, squeezing it occasionally. She knew I loved you. At the end of the night as you said your goodbyes you said I love you to me. You then turned to her and told her you loved her. I can still hear the difference. But I have just a little bit if your heart. Just a little bit of your heart is all I need. Just a little bit of your heart is all I want. Just a little bit of your heart is all I'm asking for.
