Leaving the tower, fresh, cold air hits my face. The breeze blew my hair over my shoulder.
As I got closer to the sushi shop, which was downtown, I started getting really hungry. Like- I just ate my pet crab. Now this parasite wants me to eat more? What even is its name?
"Hey. Buddy. What's your name?"
We are Venom.
"Okay, cool, but what's your name?"
We are Venom.
"Yeah i know but wh- oh. Your names Venom?"
Our. Names Venom.
"Kay... cool. Cool. Tell me about yourself, Venom.."
I had other host. Eddie Brock.
"Wait- you mean The Eddie Brock? Like as in The Brock Report Eddie Brock?"
Yes.
"What the shiiiii- okay okay continue."
Eddie sent me to get more recruits. You are healthy and fit.
"Okay so you just was like Ooo I'm gonna go inhabit all these humans! oh she's fit. She's fit AND healthy - score!"
Yes.
"I was being sarcastic but oki."
The bells jungled as I walked in, the smell of seafood filled my nostrils. Bowls of big crabs, lobsters and fish pass me as I walk to the counter.
"What would you like?"
"Uh.. raw salmon sushi please?"
"..ok. $3.70"
I pay and grab the sushi, which was in a plastic container.
Fish.
"What?" I whisper.
Raw.
"Yeah dumbass why did you think I brought salmon? Idiot."
Sorry.
"For wh-"
Suddenly I'm not on my body anymore. Ugh Venom.
He drags me to the tanks, which have lobsters in it, and sits inside it.
WHAT THE HELL, VENOM?
You tell him mentally.
He lifts up a lobster and rips it apart with my teeth.
GO GO GO GO GO
I mentally scream at him while the workers start yelling at us.
He takes an extra lobster and we run away.
Fun times.
We run as far away as we can. I didn't even know where we were. Well, that was until I saw my old house. Quinn.
I cross the road, chucking the extra lobster in the bin, I buzzed for Quinn.
No answer. Again, no answer. I grab my spear key which I kept on me at all times and unlocked the door.
The fresh paint aroma surrounded me, I felt at home. I walk up the carpeted stairs, passing Mays house. The long corridor filled my mind with memories. I get to my door and knock. I didn't even need to press lightly for it to open. The place was trashed: lamps on the ground, doors swung opened, draws pulled out. It looked like something out of a movie. What worried me most; was that Quinn could not be found. Anywhere.
