The golden dagger stuck out his chest, as the foul smell of blood roamed throughout the room. The sound of his heartbeat slowly faded as the man who stabbed clacked his boots away from the crime scene
He was startled with the smell of a roast cooking, and the humming enters into his ears. Following the sound, he walked along the corridor, his fist clenching and unclenching. His jaw gritted, and he took his patience once he reached the door.
Standing at the door for a minute planning what he was going to do. He walked behind the woman, his shadow following every move. Standing behind her figure, he quietly slid his nail into her and a gasp released through her lips.
Her body was filled with shock and pain, and the tremor ran down her spine, the man smirked as he dragged her delicate and helpless body out of the kitchen towards the back door with the blood trailing and staining onto the white tiles. The flashes of blue and red blazed from the window and the sound of the cops banging on the door; he acted quickly throwing her body over his shoulder and ran. She was no help screaming and kicking, so instead, he stuffed a piece of cloth into her mouth to shut her up.
It was no doubt that the police had found them. Throwing the woman’s body into the boot, he slammed it shut. Opening the car door, he shoved the keys into the ignition and speed off with the grey smoke behind them. Just as the door had just been knocked down and the police came hurrying in.
Another door creaked open and one of the officers slowly came over, he opened the door. “I need the ambulance now!”
His breathing was weak and his eyes had the urge to flutter close.
The officers came running over and grabbed him; they carried him outside where the ambulance had just arrived “He is bleeding! We need to get him to the hospital now!” The siren turned on, and the wails of the ambulance could tear a child’s ear off and then it was a race to the hospital.
As they searched the house there was a noise of something dropping on the ground and then there was a scream they raced down to where the noise was and there on the ground was a pool of blood and next to it was a dagger. “Help…” A trail of voice said softly, they raced to the guy on the chair and tried to stop the bleeding but at that moment his breathing started to slow down even more. “Cyn,” He whispered before his heart stopped, and was his very last words.
As the sky around her filled with darkness not knowing where she is “who are you?” screaming so loud the car next to them gave him a look. All of the sudden the car stops and rick goes flying the door swings open he pulls her out by her hair ‘help stop it your hurting me ” she cried “ someone help please I beg of you” but no one could hear not for miles and miles.
Rikki is left in a room of darkness she sits there and waits until she cant hear it no more. A door suddenly creaks open and she can see bushes and the moon it was her chance to escape.
Nothing is more frightening than hearing a kid cry in the middle of the night especially when you don’t have a kid. “911 what’s your emergency?” There was no answer; trying again the reception spoke. “911, what’s your emergency? Hello is anyone there?” The line went silent the sound of a women taking her last breath was all there was.
The sounds of the sirens were all you could hear throughout the streets it was all on the news the shadow killer striking again. The people on the streets, the nosy neighbours and the homeless were all talking about it. Everyone was scared for their lives; some locking themselves in their houses but none of them knew that the best place to stay safe was in a dark alley on the street.
As he lurks along the street people not knowing who he is some eyeing him and giving him the evils; the anger in his body rises up but he can’t kill not here, not like this. Soon. He finds a house the lights off and doors locked, perfect; he thinks an easy kill.
The sound of the TV going off startles the people inside but they don’t have a TV there heart beat rises up and down everyone can hear the sounds of his heavy footsteps coming up the stairs. Slowly, the door creaked open as the man with the black hoodie pokes his head through the gap. His cackle goes through your ears, like nails screeching down the blackboard. The noise would scar your ears, and nothing could change that.
He held a knife in his fist, and poked it through the gap of the door, the shimmering reflection, making the father understand what was going to happen.
Dropping the knife, with his tears threatening to spill, the father held his frightened children.
Tears flow down freely forming a puddle on the ground “Run kids, run!” Yells the mum as they bolt out the door. Running to the door, the children cry in terror and for some unknown reason, he let the children run. He wasn’t even going to stop them, he had no intentions once he saw the family and everything around him froze, he froze
