Chapter 1

Ugh, what happened? The last thing I can rember was being carried by someone, but who? Ugh my head hurts. Where am I? I open my eyes and look at my surroundings. I'm in a room, but where? Why am I on a bed? Why are there bandages on my arms? Who is this boy sleeping next to my bedside?

This guy is walking around checking on people when he passes me he says,

" Oh good your up. Chiron! She's awake."

Suddenly a big thing is standing over my bed. It's half man half horse? wait isn't that a centaur? it is! but what's a centaur doing standing over my bed?

" Hello, my name is Chiron. Do you know where you are?"

" Um..... I'm sorry but I don't."

" Well, we'll get you up to speed. But at the moment you need to recover."

The centar, Chiron I think he said his name is, then leaves to go talk to someone else. Recover? What exactly happened to me.

"Hey."

I was to focused to notice that the boy next to me woke up. He has Caribbean blue eyes and dark hair.

"Um.. Hey yourself."

" Did Chiron tell you anything?"

" No all he said that was we were going to talk later."

" Well then I guess I'm the welcome committe."

" Wait what?!?"

" Welcome to Camp Half Blood."

Camp......Half.......Blood??? Wait!! I think I remember seeing a sign that said that. But i dont remember . Why cant i remember, wait i blacked out. Thats right i saw a sign with weird writing on it, but then i could read it. And it said Camp Half Blood. What the heck does that mean anyways?

" Um.... could I ask you a question?"

" Sure. What do you want to know?"
Well, he seams nice enough.

" Who are you?"

" Oh! That right I didn't tell you my name. I'm Percy Jackson, Son of Poseidon."

Son of Poseidon? Isnt Poseidon a God? What exactly is Camp Half Blood? What going on here? And why am I here?
