Violentine: What The Hell!?!?!

Nightmare

Morgan's POV

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

WhAt ThE fUcK!?!?!?!?! I'm pulled from my sleep by a bone shattering scream, I look over and Clementine is shaking and crying into her knees. What the hell!?!?!??!

"Clem! Clementine!" I shake her arm, hoping to pull her out of whatever daze she's in.

"CLEMENTINE!" I slap her arm and she looks up at me. Her eyes are red and puffy, she's trembling and sobbing. I hug her as tight as possible as she crys into my shoulder.

I soon realize it's like the middle of the night. Everybody in the school probably heard that scream. "Let's go outside, Clem." She looks at me and nods. I grab her by the hand and we run outside.

Soon after stomping footsteps echo through the school. Everyone's awake.

"What was that!?" Louis is the first one outside, he must have ran right from bed.

"N-night-tmare..." Clem still has tears rolling down her face as she chokes out that one word. Nightmare. It wasn't about the ranch though, she's never screamed after one of her nightmares about the ranch...

"It wasn't the ranch this time, was it?"

"N-n-no-o"

"What was it?" Louis practically whispers the question.

Clem looks behind Louis quickly as if to see if anybody else had come outside yet. "B-b-bit-tt-ten..."

What the fuck!?

"Wh--" Suddenly Violet runs out of the school. Took her long enough.

"What the fuck is going on!" Her face immediately turns to concern upon seeing Clem in hysterics.

"Clem, are you o--" Violet is cut off by Clem running up to her and practically squeezing her to death. Something tells me this nightmare had something to do with Violet.

Violet just mouths to us over Clem's shoulder what happened? Louis and I just shrug.

"Clem...you're choking me..." Clem releases Violet and wipes her tears as she grabs onto Violet's hands. "Clem. What happened."

"Nightmare...bitten..."

"Who got bitten?" Clem looks at Violet. The next word out of her mouth helps it all make sense.

"You..." It's barely a whisper. Another tear slowly rolls down Clem's cheek as Vi pulls her into another tight hug. Louis and I pieced together that Clem just had a nightmare about Violet getting BITTEN. I would scream too...

Then I realize something else...and it amplifies every inch of fear in that nightmare...it reminded her of Lee...

Everyone else slowly files outside of the school. "What happened!" AJ and Tenn both run up to Clem and Violet.

Violet momentarily let's go of Clem to talk to Tenn. I walk up to them and tell AJ that it was ok and he could go to sleep. Being the stubborn boy he is, he decided to stay up.

"You ok, Clem?" Brody, and everyone actually, have looks of worry on their faces.

"I--"

"Bad nightmare." Violet interrupts Clementine and grabs her hand. Clem looks at her almost as if assessing the situation and lays her head on Violet's shoulder. Violet fails at hiding a smile.

"That must've been one hell of a nightmare." Ruby says.

"S-sorry if I woke you all up."

"You have nothing to apologize for." I think Clem and I are the only ones who hear Violet whisper that. Clem smiles, and I can't help but grin at seeing Violet defend and cheer Clem up.
