Chapter 1

I just now got home home from school and I was exhausted. I used my little bit of energy and climbed up the long stairs to the third floor where my apartment is. I walked past numerous rooms with the same door. I felt like I was walking in circles and the weight of the books was not making my travel easy, especially my alchemy book. That thing weighed a ton but I have to practice so next week I can can sign up to become a state alchemist. It was always been a dream of mine since I was little. It was the only thing I had left because my parents.... I don't want to talk about them. They never cared for me anyway. I was knocked out of my thoughts when I walked straight into something or someone.

The force knocked me down and I braced myself to fall but it never came. I opened my eyes and looked up. To see a boy with long braided blonde hair going down his back and golden eyes you can get lost in. As handsome as he was their was something about him. I couldn't quite figure it out.

"Are you ok?" the boy asked. I didn't answer. I stay silent, Still staring at him.

" Um brother, we have to go. Remember we have that mission to do."I looked to my right and saw a suit of armor and he was... Talking. Last time I checked armor didn't talk. Then it hit me, I read about this in my alchemy book. Did they... They wouldn't have. Well only one way to find out. I pushed the blonde away from me and picked up my book. What happened next was completely shocking. I threw it at the suit of armor and hit him straight in the chest. His body sounded almost empty as He fell down. As that happened, the blonde boy ran next to him and looked at me with anger.

"what's your problem! "he said. His face showed he really cared for this talking suit of armor.

" brother I'm fine... "the armor stated.

" No it's not Al!She just threw a book at you! "he told Al. He then looked at me" You owe us an apology."He said sternly. I have always been the 'good girl' so what I did surprised me more. I just picked up the book and left. The two just watched me as I continue my search For my room.I opened my door;then lock it.Leaning down against the door, I let my thoughts wander. It's true.... They committed the taboo. They had to, But I'm not sure yet. I need to find a way to find out. Because maybe I'm not alone. They are probably just like me. My mind raced with questions. Then I felt a light bulb go off inside my head. I ran over to me closet and pulled out a (opposite hair color)that goes down to my waist and put it on hiding my (h/c). I then put in some (opposite eye color) contacts hiding my  (e/c) eyes. I looked at myself in the mirror I don't look like myself. I will need a name change too.

So I chose the name CeiCei. It wasn't my first choice but it's fine. I changed Out into a different outfit and ran out the door to find them. The only thing going through my mind was"I'm but alone anymore"
