I wake up to hands shaking me awake. I jerk myself up knocking my head into someone. I look up and Ed and AL are next to me on the couch with worry looks on their faces. I look around noticing it wasn't my normal surroundings. I'm in the hospital? I jump out of bed with a surging pain going through my automail shoulder.My body unable to bare the sudden pain, falls to the floor.
"(Y/N)!?! are you OK?! a familiar voice asks.I use the little energy I had to look up to see my usual mechanic,Matt.
"(Y/N)? "ed and al question with confuse looks planting on them.
I try to think of a way to lie but I couldn't think of a good excuse.
"Umm, Matt can I talk to you in the hall please.? "I ask him. Without him answering I grab his arm and drag him outside.
" ow hey! What gives! "he yells as he pulls my hand off his arm."-And what with the getup and who is CeiCei? "
I lower my voice down to a audible whisper"Okay listen, I found out They committed the taboo just like I did!but I don't know for sure. "
"Well, why couldn't you just dress up as yourself?" Matt questions.
"We had a bad run in and I gave off a bad first impression. "I sigh.
Matt mouths the word 'oh'. "Then Ceicei we might wanna get back inside and..follow my lead."
We went back inside and saw that Edward and Al were quietly waiting for us to come back. While Matt did the explaining and fixing my automail, I just sat back, listening In and giving the occasional nod every now and then. Surprisingly they have yet to notice I'm half naked and the only thing covering my upper body is a small towel. I guess they're use to it I guess. I saw their mechanic she barely wears any clothing.
"um uh hey guys can you tell me why exactly I'm in the hospital for? "I speak up.
Everyone was quiet til ed broke the silence."You where attacked by Lust and Gluttony. They are both homunculi collecting human souls so they can create a philosopher stone."he quickly explained
"Well why did they attack me of all people? "I ask hoping for a Clear answer.
He shrugs." I don't know why but they haven't struck in a while till now. "
I shiver of The thought of what happened or what they can do next.
" wait.... What's today?! "I yell nearly falling out of bed.
" I believe it's Friday. The day before the alchemist test. "al answers.
I plaster a huge smile across my face. And I was doing sort of a happy dance. Which made everyone in the room laugh. We hung out and had fun till it was no visitors allowed time. We Said our goodbyes and they left. I closed my eyes hoping I can have a small rest. But then the door cracks open and I hear footsteps walk toward my bed. I flinch not knowing what it was but I felt a pair of lips kiss my forehead. I peak my eyes open a bit to see ed leaving the room with a blush on his face. I of course begin to heat up. They guy..He's something. I thought as I fall asleep with a smile.
