Chapter 1

~ Dear Jordan, I'm writing you this letter, because I'm scared that you have forgotten about me.
I've lived here in Seoul for a month now. And school starts tomorrow. I'm scared.. What if I get in trouble? What if I won't get any friends? Or even get bullied because I'm foreign, half american and half korean you know.. or because of my braces or glasses?..
You're probably confused now.. But my stepdad won't let me go to school without those.. He's saying that his daughter got raped by someone from her school, just because she was pretty.. And ofcourse my mom agrees with him.. And like.. I understand him but.. I don't want people to think I'm ugly.. Well, maybe I am already? I don't know.. But Jordan. Please answer my texts or calls..

- I miss you..

I was sitting on the windowsill while staring at my reflection from the window. I sighed while brushing my bleach blonde hair.
I am pretty.

- But prettiness doesn't matter..

- Did you say something Kennedy?

I looked to my right, my mom was putting my clean clothes into my cabinet.

- No mom.

She smiled and went out from my room.
I put down my hairbrush and went to put on a pyjamas. It has monkeys on it. Kinda cute.
I jumped onto my bed while holding my letter to Jordan. I'll send it too him tomorrow.

I turned off the lamp beside my bed and then turned on the alarm on my phone since it was school the next day.
I'm really nervous. But I can do it. No bullies. No trouble, just new friends and good work.

- Urgh...

It's time to go to hell..
I'm not exited. But, I can do it... I can do it... I can do it... I can do it...
- I CAN DO IIIIIIT!!!! I screamed while streching my arms up over my head.
I sat up from bed but laid back down directly since I'm so tired.

Goddamnit.. I can't do this. My bed is so goddamn soft. My head is so goddamn gone, my eyes are so goddamn heavy and my body is just goddamn still.

Brain - Get your lazy ass up
Body - No
Brain - Get up
Body - No
Brain - Yes get up!
Body - .....

- I SAID GET THE FAQ UP U UGLY ASS ZOMBIE!

Sigh, I finally sat up and went to the bathroom behind my cabinet.
I looked at myself in the mirror, I bent down while holding up my body with my hands on the bathroom sink. I-can-do-this..

- Geez, I've lost my mind.

I brushed my teeth way to long because I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't have bad breath for school. I usually don't have bad breath, but I just wanted to make sure, you know.
Can't make a dirty impression the first day of school.
I was about to walk out from the bathroom but then I realized. I need my braces and glasses..
G O D D A M N   I T.
- You know what. Why not have a messy ponytail too? Aish, I shouldn't have brushed my teeth for that long.. I shouldn't have brushed them at all. Goddamn it.
I looked at myself in the mirror for 5 seconds before I started to do funny faces and ugly poses.
- Woah, I'm really ugly.
I turned my head to see that the time had already escaped my new morning routine.
- Aish, goddamn it!
I put on my clothes and ran down the stairs. I saw my brother in the kitchen and he stared at me like if he just saw Kevin Hart or something. I stared back at him and we just stood there for about 5 seconds before he broke into a huge laughter.

- BWAAAAAAAAAAAAHAGHAHAHAHHA.

- SHUT UP LUCAS!

- WHY- W-HSHSH WHY DO Y-YOU LHOOK LHIKE THAHAHAHAT, KEHHENNEDY!?

- AISH, MOM AND HER NEW LOVER FORCED ME TO.

I took an apple from the fruit bowl and then ran out of the house.
Argh, I can still hear him laughing.. WHy IsS HhE LIKeE tHaAT?!

I've now been walking for awhile and I can finally see the school.
I saw alot of students walking on their way into the school while I just stood behind the opening of the stone fence. I took a deep breath before I decided to keep on walking. I looked down so people wouldn't stare, but that didn't really work. Well, my braces are literally making me look like the monkeys from my pyjamas. Goddamn it. Whatever, it's fine. No one seems to care about saying bad things about it at leas--

-WOAH!!

Someone just bumped into me. And it was definitely on purpouse!

-YAH!! Why would you do that!!?

-Oh, sorry, let me help you.
I looked up and saw a handsome guy standing infront of me.
He reached out his hand from his pocket and shoved infront of my face so he could pull me up. I took his hand and tried to stand up, but he let go and I lost my balance and fell back onto the hard and cold floor.

-YAH! MICHYEOSSEO!?

-Nerd.
He said while running away with 6 other guys following behind.

W-W-W?
WHAT. What just happened?!

- Ouch!.. My bum!.. My poor bum!

Girls around me looked at me while giggling.

- Aish..
I'll just ignore them. Just ignore everything...

- Omo! Are you alright!?

A girl with long brown hair ran up to me while reaching out her hand for me. I decided to ignore it and just get up by myself since I wasn't sure if she was going to help me up or just let go of my hand like that other guy did.
I brushed away the dirty dust from the floor that was now stuck onto my school uniform.

- Goddamn it!

- No no, don't care about that. My name is Jennie, this is Lisa, Jisoo and Rose. We are freshman. And I assume that you are too?

- Uhm yeah, I am. My name is Kennedy. Nice to meet you.

- You too, let's be friends!
