Scenery.

He saw his reflection in the small wonders of the yellow colored pond. His breath a flame of fog escaping his lips. Hands in his pockets to keep them warm from the harsh weather.

Snow kissed his reddening nose, and his soft cheeks were cuddled with a long thick scarf wrapped around his neck. A beanie tried it's best to keep the tips of his ears warm.

His head kept low to his feet. Taking a minute to bask in the beauty of the water not yet frozen, it continues to flow despite it continual snow dropping from the sky.

He could hear the footsteps of others passing by, not one single person stopping to just look. Look at how everything turns a baby blue in a day, looking at the slumbering trees — hidden grass — the moving waters. No one.

No one could ever see in his eyes.

He felt a small wind brush against his shoulder, and footsteps going to a halt. Snow crunching against feet, he glances at the new pair of shoes beside him before his gaze goes back to the reflection.

He's just about to look.

"Beautiful, right? It's the only pond that doesn't freeze during winter."

Namjoon's feet are frozen and not by the snow. He lets out a cold breath, "... Yeah, it really is, but it looks like no one really notices, do they?"

"Not really, no. Everybody is usually in a hurry for work in this city. No one really has time to look, but I'm glad you came, Joon. It must of been hell getting here all the way from Gwangju."

Namjoon smiles beneath his scarf, shrugging his shoulders. "... I assumed staying inside all day with this kind of weather wouldn't really be good for my sanity. It's been so long since I've went out, Taehyung. I'm still a little wary though..."

"Hey, it's alright." Namjoon could see Taehyung five a firm nod through the reflection. "... I brought you sunglasses just in case you feel uncomfortable..."

He shakes his head. "I'll be okay, I will," says Namjoon. "All that matters to me is that we get to that museum early, I don't want to miss out on anything because of the crowd."

"If people stare at you, tell me," The other sighs, "Just tell me okay? And I can get you out of there as soon as possible."

"No, no." Namjoon shakes his head and furrows his eyebrows, "You can't leave your own art exhibit because of me. I want to stay, and I'll stay there till the showcase is over no matter what."

Taehyung smiles softly, bending down and grabbing a pebble from the grass. He tosses it over the pond, watching it skip a couple times before sinking. "You came all the way here for me, that means you're gonna be under my care for the time being. Plus, you're an inspiration for one of my artworks. Now, I don't want to parade you like you're a painting, but I do want to make sure you're safe."

The yellow water shakes, and the reflection becomes hazy. Namjoon doesn't look up. ".... Can you tell me what color is the pond?"

"It's dark blue, why?" The other says.

"... Yellow," Namjoon murmurs, "... The pond is yellow to me."

He sees Taehyung's hand come to view with a pair of black tinted sunglasses. "Here, you should wear these now..."

The colors dull as he puts them on. He doesn't like that.
