Chap 3~ Teaming up

*Kai's POV*

My thought turned into reality as I flew into a rock. I got up and stared at the new enemy. It was one of the demons, Asrael. "Here you are... If you come with me calmly, I won't bring you to the demon king..." He said. I sighed. "And have the chance for you to treat me like a slave? Not again..." I said. He sighed. "I thought you would say that. Would you mind if he gets hurt?" He says as he pulls out Christian, covered in cuts.

My eyes widen and I think about it. I walk closer to him, "Fine, I will go down to the demon clan with you. Don't hurt my teammates..." I say slowly. I get closer and closer to him.

*Meliodas POV*

"Fine, I will go down to the demon clan with you. Don't hurt my teammates..." I hear what I think to be Kai says. My eyes widen as I hear that. She's associated to the Demon Clan? I've never seen her before... Next thing I know, the demon puts his hand around her waist, dropping the boy on the ground. She grabs his hand and throws him into the ground. I'm surprised by the sudden movement.

*Kai's POV*

"Ella! Take Christian and help him!" I demand. I feel a attack coming, summoning my scythe and blocking it less than a half of a second. I keep dodging it for awhile until I go on the offensive. I land a few blows on the demon, same goes for me. He lands some good hits on me, ones that will become scars. Another one attacks from behind, me now focusing on both of them at the same time, and also my teammates.

4 more attacks me and it now I break a sweat a little bit, and this only happened in 3 seconds. This keeps going on until  there's 10 on me, 2 seconds later. I get a few scars. Why aren't my teammates not helping me? Are they in danger?! I looked over to my teammates and they seemed okay. I got distracted enough that I couldn't block the hit coming at me.

I fly into a boulder with a large slash in my chest. I groan and stand up, wobbling. I've lost too much blood. I fall onto my knees and fall on my stomach. But before I passed out I saw someone go in front of me and the clash of swords.

*Meliodas POV*
*Few hours later*

The only person that got seriously hurt is their captain. A person healed us and then healed her, which is weird. Why do her teammates heal us first then their captain? This team is a bunch of weirdos. Their captain starts to wake up. She sits up and looks around.

"Sooooo... You okay?" I ask her. She looks at me and simply nods. She stands up, which I did not know she could do in her situation. Elizabeth walks up to us, along with hawk. "There you guys are, we've been waiting" I say to them.

*Kai's POV*

I don't even know these people that much.   I stretch and yawn, bringing attention to me. I didn't want the attention but I guess I got it. I sigh and hold out my hand to Christian. He gets the hint and holds my hand and throws me over his shoulder, lightly. We all teleport away from them. We appear miles away and Christian sets me down. I thank them all and they nod. I peek beneath the bandage and see it starting to heal.

"Hey Ella, can you heal this a bit more for me? Or do you not have any power left?" I ask her. "Sorry... I don't have any power left" She said. I nodded my head and gave her a thumbs up, saying it's fine. It was night time and we all went asleep and took turns keeping watch.

In the morning, there was a fire in the middle of us, which my teammates are using it to cook some fish. I sit up and yawn. I see that they wrapped up my stomach and I quickly said thank you. They knew what I was talking about and quickly said yep as they eat into their fish. Ella hands me two and I look at her weird.

"Hey your hurt. Just take it" She tells me. I throw my arms around her neck and say thanks. She smiles and continues eating her fish. I back off and eat my fish. "So Ella. When are you going to meet "him" again?" I ask her, a smirk on my face. Her face gets all flustered and she hides it with her hands. My whole entire team, including myself just starts laughing. Ella pouts.

"Well... He said he's coming now but I don't see hi-" She says but someone comes up behind her and throws their arms around her. "You guys missed me?!" He said. It was Jayden, Ella's boyfriend. He obviously seemed excited. Ella seemed surprised but quickly recovered, and turned around to kiss him. We all aww at the sight. They haven't seen each other in 2 years because Jayden had to go on a mission.

We talk for a bit, enjoying our time together, not even think once about the demons that could be sneaking up on us.
