Christmas 2018

Christmas 12 21 18

3rd Person POV

Eren stood in mina's house.

She had invited him to stay here so he wouldn't be alone on Christmas, during the blizzard, and so he wouldn't freeze to death. Since the temperature would be 12-bleow with a temperature of 30 degrees below zero with windchill factored in.

Eren took a seat after Mina led him inside Telling to make his self-comfortable, all after letting him know they were the only one in the house (her parents were out).

Mina went up upstairs after letting him inside and telling him to sit down stairs. He wondered why. What was so important the it required him to wait downstairs? She came back down [several minutes later] with something behind her back. She reviled it to be a present. "Merry Christmas" she handed it to Eren. "open it" She said. Eren opened the present and found a blanket inside. It was huge. More of a (big) thick comforter than a blanket.

I noticed you shivering at night. So, I thought you could use some thing to keep you warm

Eren was ecstatic it had been years since he celebrated Christmas, let alone gotten a present

Eern's happiness soon turned to sadness. His face went from gleeful to guilty and he began to cry. Mina saw this and was confused by it.

What's wrong? do you not like it?

She asked "Talk to me here Eren. Please Eren," (she said in her calm soothing voice.

After calming down Eren looked up to mina.

"I didn't get you anything. I didn't even think about it" he said with sadness in his eyes. "It's ok Eren" she said. "I never really asked you what you wanted or said what I wanted to you. Nor did the conversation come up. Or Vice versa" She reassured him.

"But, there is however, There is something I want to ask you."

Eren looked at mina.

What? He asked, "what is it?"

But mina wasn't listing. "Ok". Mina thought to herself. "You can do this Mina." He's right here just go ahead. You've been putting this off long enough.

"Mina? Mina!" Said Eren trying to get her attention.

"Eren..." Mina started, "Ok, here we go" she thought.

"Been holding this in, putting it off and saving if for the right occasion and opportune moment since thanksgiving." She mumbled to herself, but Eren still heard.

"Eren. Eren...Jeager...

Will you be my boyfriend?"

Eren stood in shock (and awe) of what she said.

The last time that happened was when he was with Krista. Way back When he wasn't an outcast. "aaaaahhhooohhh, Do Not open that door Eren" he thought to himself. Not wanting to focus on the memories the show (just) how bad his life got.

(AN: that will be covered in another chapter).

This girl...Had just asked him to be her boyfriend.

A (relatively [well] known) girl had just asked him (...the [ostracized] outcast) to be in a (romantic) relationship with her.

Finally, he wasn't alone. he had someone. He felt water in his eyes. But this was not the usual sadness he had. This was something he hadn't felt in (Literal) years. Joy. So, with that Eren could only give one response.

"Yes" he said with tears of joy. The two the hugged each other "I guess I did get something after all" Mina said to Eren. "I got you a warm blanket and You got be my new boyfriend." Said as the separated, inches away from each other. Mina cupped her had on Eren's cheeks and kissed him on the lips. Eren just gave in as she began to run her hands around his neck and. through his hair gripping the back of his head. in turn he wrapped his arms around her with his left arm holding her head, and right around her torso.

"This is the origins of a long and (truly) beautiful friendship" The two said in their heads simultaneously.

AN: Oh my god, this took too long to get done. was gonna post this and upload the chapter on Christmas but I was with family.

Also, this is and the Next special I post are NOT (currently) posted chronologically. I was just trying to get this out in time for Christmas (and/or [at least] the Holidays). Or at least in this case before February. The giant snow storm that hit literally over 2 months ago (Nov 25th) knocked out electricity, and we were without power for 3 days. (thankfully and luckily, we have a backup generator but the brief moment) when the power went out, I lost every thig I was working on the computer b/c I did not save. Also, school and finals were going on.

P.P.S.

Of what was effect by the power outage:

Chapters 2 and 3 of Hell on Paradise(island) are; or were completed, I mean I'm still trying to retype them. At this point there are just a bunch of ideas and/or outlines (it does vary with each chapter), for several chapters of Hell on Paradise (Island).

Plus, I had collage, as mentioned, I have a writer's block issue, and ideas for several other things, have been getting in the way. But finals concluded on the 13th [of Dec] for me, and classes started back up on 1/22/19/ for me.

2, or at least one, POTC story- life on jones shipt, and DMTNT story-will crew members and 2 navy officers, Groves and Gillete, (with Beckett [1-3] and Barbossa[4]) from fist 4 films.

Just to name a few have been thought of during break and the writer's block issue is back. So why have done little updating on stories. I only have 2 classes and meet 2 days a week at collage, so; In THEROY... I should be able to do this [uploading chapters and writing] more often. Thought writers block, so may vary.

So, sorry of taking so long.
