A/N: Is anyone else sad about Naruto ending? Because I am. I realize that I've been watching and reading Naruto for 5 years now. I know it's not a lot compared to some people. All I have to say is this:

Naruto, you have truly been an interesting character. I have watched you grow up from a knuckle-headed ninja who wouldn't shut up about being Hokage to the great father and Hokage you grew up to be today. I've learned many things from you which will be engraved in my heart for the rest of my life. Your struggles were my struggles and your happiness was mine. I have watched fight every enemy that came at you and tried to put you down only to rise up to beat those bastards into the ground. You've been a great role model and someone to blame for my liking of ramen :)

Thank you for the memories, the good and the bad. We'll miss you, dattebayo!!

Love, a dedicated fan.

============================================

Areya knew something was wrong when thunderclouds loomed over Suna. It rarely rained in Suna, and if it did, it only rained very little. It has been nearly 8 years since Areya herself brought upon a thunderstorm of this magnitude. It was her Kekkei Genkai, Kanjō no tenki [1], that had made her control the nature chakra in the air with her emotional state at the time. It had been during Gaara's kidnapping (she refused to think of it as his death) that she finally learned of it. And now it was happening again, but at a much larger scale.

Call it a mother's intuition, but she knew this involved one, or both, of her children. She could feel both of their chakras from Gaara's office, far from the Ninja Academy, coming from across the village. She had been with Gaara, delivering a report, when they both felt the malicious chakra in the air. It somewhat resembled Kurimi's chakra and......Shukkaku's??

"Gaara, can you feel it?" she asked, a weight settling on her shoulders. Behind her mask, she was sweating. The chakra was foreboding.

"Yes. Something is wrong. This isn't normal. And for some reason," he said as he gazed at the foreboding clouds, "I can feel Hikari's and Yami's chakra in the air."

"Me too. You don't think....." Their eyes widened when they realized the severity of the situation. In a flash, Gaara removed his traditional Kazekage robes to reveal his normal shinobi attire underneath. She herself was wearing hers in a poof of smoke.

Gone was the Suna ANBU uniform, in its place was a sky blue kimono-like blouse with a dark embroidered border, held closed with a black obi, a dark blue skirt and black stockings that stopped at her thighs along with the village's forehead protector and black shinobi sandals. Under her long wide sleeves, she wore black arm guards that covered her forearms and stretched up to reach her upper biceps and reached down to her knuckles.

With that, the concerned parents made their way to the Ninja Academy, along with Gaara's ANBU guard. Areya pressed on the speaker in her ears and made a transmission call to the ANBU.

"Report!" One of the ANBU nodded. It was Hebi she believed.

"ANBU near the academy report a fight between Yami-sama and another student. It appears Yami-sama was defending Hikari-hime. The student, it seems, was making fun of Hikari-hime. He had been pulling on her hair. And Yami-sama managed to overhear. We believe that the main source of the chakra to be Yami-sama but Hikari-hime seems to be in an emotional state."

She nodded. Of course. With them being her children, she would have expected for them to inherit her Kekkei Genkai. But why the malicious chakra......?

"Areya-sama! This is Sparrow reporting from the Academy! It seems to us that Yami-sama has gone into some sort of....trasformation!"

Her breath hitched. She glanced at Gaara with concerned eyes, who seemed to have come to the same conclusion. They had been told before the twins were born.
