Chapter 4

Kaiti's POV

I was currently getting ready to go over to Ross' house.  I was really excited when he told me he wanted to hang out again.  I really had a great time when we went bowling so him wanting to hang out again means that he must have ahd a great time too right??  I walked downstairs when I had five minutes until he said he would be here and soon enough there was a knock on the door.  I opened it to see the handsome blonde boy I have been thinking about non stop since last night.  "Hi" he said when I opened the door. "Hey" I said. "So you ready" he asked. "yea" I said following him to his car. There was a few minutes of silence before he spoke. "Look I cant just let you walk in without giving you a headsup of whats happening" he said "What do you mean" I asked. "I didnt invite you over so we could hang out exactly" he said "Okay" I said confused. "I need your help with something" he said. "With what" I asked. "she will explain" he said. "Who is she" I asked. "My agent" he said pulling into his driveway anf getting out.  He came around and opened my door for me. "Im sorry, just know that" he said taking my hand and leading me inside.  "come on" he said leading me through the house to the living room.  Where two women were sitting. "Kaiti this is my mom and this is my manager, this is Kaiti" he said pointing to everyone.  "hi Kaiti nice to meet you, if youll take a seat we can get this started" his agent said. "Get what started" I asked getting pulled into a sitting position on the couch by Ross.  "let the fun begin" Ross said in a whisper.  What did I just get myself into.

"So Kaiti, Ross has gotten himself into quite the pickle" the agent started. "A girl he previously daited spread some bad rumors about him and the only thing that could save him and his career at this point is getting him some goof publicity from another girl, a girlfriend if you will" she continued. "Where do I come into this" I asked. "We want you to be Ross' fake girlfriend" she said. I looked at Ross who was refusing to make eye contact with me.  "So what you were using me in hopes I would fake date you, what did I fit some criteria you had or something" I said looking at him. "Kaiti it wasnt like that I mean it kind of was but I got to know you and I really started to like you which is why were asking you to do this" he said. "You realize youre asking me to fake date you, FAKE as in not real as in no emotional attachment" I said. "Yes I am aware" he said looking down.  "What would I have to do exactly" I asked. "Show up to some events, when he goes to movie premiers you would be his date, he would take you to the Austina dn Ally set occasionally, show up at some of his concerts, things like that" she said. "thats it nothing else" i asked. "Well, depending on how things go there might be more" she said. "Like what." i asked. "Physical contact, hand holding hugs, and the occasional kiss.  Basically we want you to go through a normal relationship with him, slowly it would seem like you two are falling in love with each other" she said. "So a real fake relationship" I said. "Yes" she said. "Can you tell me if youre at least considering it" she asked. "I dont know I need some time to think" I said standing up. "Sure thing" she said. I walked to the door and sat on their porch.  After a few minutes I heard the door open and Ross sit next to me.
