"Hey."

Beam flinched in surprise and turned his eyes from the snack on the shelf to the man towered him from his right side. He was leaning his right side of his body, also his right arm against the snack shelf, smiling at him handsomely, showing off his neat teeth and those two canines on each side.

"Shit, Ai'Forth, you surprised me," Beam said as he held his left chest, then he chuckled. "Why didn't I hear you coming?" Beam chuckled as he continued to flip a snack and read the flavor.

"You buy a lot of snack," Forth said as he gave the snack on Beam's arm a glance. 

"Yeah, we do group study a lot" Beam said.

"Here," Forth said as he gave Beam a basket.

Beam gave a basket a glance before he looked up back at Forth's face.

"Thanks," Beam said as he put his snacks into the basket and tried to hold its holder.

"It's ok, keep choosing," Forth said as he started to look around the snack shelf.

Beam who was watching Forth continued to choose the snack after he saw Forth choosing some snacks too.

"I'm done, you don't buy any snack?" Beam asked and Forth just blinked. But instead of taking a bag of chips from the shelf, Forth took one from the basket.

"Really?" Beam asked, rolled his eyes, yet chuckled.

Forth just nodded.

And Beam just heaved a sigh before he took one more same bag of chips from the shelf while he shook his head, following Forth who was walking to the cashier. Forth took a can of cold beer on their walk to the cashier.

"Can I get that?" Forth said as he pointed at a box of cigar behind the cashier.

"Alright," the cashier said and put it together with Beam's snack and his beer.

Beam turned his head to Forth as Forth took out his wallet from his jeans and pulled out some bahts.

"I—" Beam stopped when Forth moved his palm up and nodded. He took the cigar box when the cashier was still putting the snacks into the plastic bag. "Thank you," Beam said to the cashier before he grabbed the plastic bag and walked out of the convenience store with Forth tailing behind him, already putting a stick of cigar between his lips.

They stopped next to Beam's car and Beam grabbed the beer can from the plastic bag.

"You drink on daylight?" Beam said and Forth took it from Beam's hands.

"The one from convenience store is hardly affecting me," Forth said after he exhaled the smoke. He clicked the can open and started to gulp it down.

"Then what's the point?"

Forth just shrugged.

"Here," Beam said as he gave Forth his bag of chips.

"Is it good?" Forth asked as he observe the bag of chips.

"You don't know how it tastes?" Beam asked.

Forth shook his head.

"Wasabi," Forth read the writing on the bag.

"Yeah, wasabi. We use that for punishing the one who answers wrongly in the group study," Beam explained as he stared at Forth's eyes, asking for an explanation. "Why did you buy it?"

"Dunno, I just saw you took your time the longest looking for this one, so," Forth said coolly as he opened the bag of it. Then he putted one green chip into his mouth, and then another ones. He nodded.
