The Saiyan Bond

Chapter 4

Goku, Gine, and Vegeta teleported to the planet that Broly and his friends were on. They walked until they saw the cave that the trio were living in.

Goku looked at Gine, "I'll go get them. You and Vegeta can stay out here!"

Gine nodded and watched her son walk into the cave. She looked at Vegeta, "How are you, Prince Vegeta?"

Vegeta looked at her, "I'm fine, but why ask me so formally?"

Gine wagged her tail, "Just asking! My husband knows your father!"

Vegeta looks a bit surprised, "R-Really...?"

Gine nodded, "Mhm! But my husband was treated as a joke..." her tail stopped wagging.

Vegeta notices and looks away a bit nervous about what's going to happen to him if he said anything.

They waited for another minute until Goku and 3 others were following him. Goku smiled and introduced the 3 to Gine. She learned their names: Broly, Cheelai, and Lemo.

Cheelai crossed her arms, "So your a female Saiyan and Goku's mother huh?"

Gine nodded, "Yes, my name is Gine." her tail wagged a bit.

Lemo cleared his throat and looked at her dead in the eyes, "I hope your not like Paragus."

Gine shook her head, "Nonononono!! I'm not like that at all!!!!"

Cheelai and Lemo looked at each other. Cheelai narrowed her eyes, "Not like what? Evil? Wanting to conquer planets? Enslaving us?"

Gine looked at them, "I'm not evil. I have no intention to enslave or conquer anything!!! Plus, I don't even like fighting!!!!"

Everyone froze in shock minus Broly who only tilted his head in confusion. It took everyone a few minutes to process everything that Gine just said.

Goku put his hands on his hips, "I didn't know that there was a Saiyan that didn't like fighting."

Gine looked at Goku, "Your father enjoyed fighting."

Goku looked down with an upset expression then after a few short minutes Goku teleported everyone back to Gohan's house. When the group walked into the living room, everyone saw Broly and got ready for an attack. The attack never came because Broly watched Gine's tail move whenever it did. He slowly reached for it. When he grabbed it, he yanked it without knowing that it would hurt her. Gine yelped in pain when she was lifted off the ground by her tail.

Cheelai looked at Broly, "Broly!!!"

He looked at her.

Cheelai smiled, "Time to let go of the tail. Your hurting her."

Broly puts Gine down and let go of her tail, "S... Sorry..."

Gine smiled shyly, "I-Its fine... Just a little pain. No big deal."

Broly returned the smile.

After a few seconds of silence, everyone started to talk about what's going on with their lives. When it was time for bed, everyone slept at Gohan's place. Video let Gine sleep in the living room since all the guest rooms were taken.

Gine looked out the window shortly after saying goodnight to everyone. She walked up to it and sat down on the chair closest to the window. She let out a sigh, 'I can't believe it Bardock... I'm right here... with our son...' she smiled and looked at the moon, "But you will always be in my thoughts..."
