Chapter 2: The Legend

( Earth, Age 22, High Tech )

'Jake wakes up'

"Who are you?, where am I?" Asked Jake, speaking slowly and trembling the words out to the guy on a computer.

"Heh, the question is, who are you?" Said Alex.

With natural reaction and confusion, jake stated, "I'm Jake Lorey, aged 22, had this system since I was 4, I am not allowed to tell anyone about the system or I die!"

"How is this possible, surely not..." Alex mumbled as turning to his computer to check DNA tests.

"What?, what's happening...how did I get here." questioned Jake.

"You're not who you think you are... You're really someone from Earth, this is a Parallel World, Ther~" Jake cut Alex off.

"There are 9 worlds, used to be 10 until it was destroyed by a man named Raxon for revenge on the creator, James." Jake stated.

"Holy crap!, you're The Legend...Come with me!" Alex shockingly mumbled under his breath.

"Who?" Jake asked.

"You, The Legend. The legend is a myth which I and many people believed in from their losses, it was said that The Legend would one day come into these worlds and destroy the system. The Legend was said to know everything about the worlds, but would have to spend a day before being activated!" Alex stated.

"So, like, James created this system, a drug that connected 2 magnets creating the parallel worlds to show up. He also had a friend, Rex, who hated him after Rex himself failed a crime and blamed it on James. Rex escaped a month after and infected himself so he could hack into the system and rule the worlds. What else..... I can't think, it hurts." Jake quickly stated.

"Don't, we don't want you to explode!" Alex replied in laughter.

"We?" Jake picked up on.

"Yes, we are the smartest people on the parallel worlds, other then you. But we know everything in talking wars and worlds. Well, I'm a huge hacking nerd, although Raxon is better then me, since he hacked the system itself, then my friends... Come out guys!" Yelled Alex.

2 guys and a girl walked out of the room on the left, and sat down with boredom.

"Well, they aren't cheery" stated Jake suddenly.

"Yeah, not now, guys... Introduce yourselves." Alex said.

"No, why should we?" Asked William.

"Trust me, just do it!" Replied Alex.

They all let off a sigh and continued.

"I'm William Sordbolt, I specialise in killing people, especially ones who annoy me!" William stated as introducing himself.

"I'm Max Silvetron, I specialise in combat and gadgets." Max stated as shaking Jake's hand.

"I'm Chloe Starstream, I specialise in martial arts, and figuring out people's life." Said Chloe.

"Well, can you figure out mine?" Said Jake.

"Your name is Jake Lorey, your parents....huh?, what's the deal with you? I can't see your history." Questioned Chloe.

"Introduce yourself Jake" said Alex.

"I'm Jake Lorey, parents were said to be dead when I was 4 years old and that's when I was put into the system... I grew up in confusion and in the real world my names Shift. I'm The Legend." Jake stated.

They all gasped.

They looked around at each other in confusion and questioned,

"How, that's impossible..." Said Chloe.

"No, it's not... Tomorrow, I can tell you all about these worlds, don't believe me, ask me tomorrow. I remember and have been in here long enough to know I intercepted the magnets in the parallel worlds, and no one can survive that, except The Legend." Stated Jake.

"It's said, that The Legend would come with 4 people, that he would use his powers..." Stated Max.

"Yes, I will have powers, and I will carry you 4 on to defeat the system, world... By... World!" Jake continued.

"Soon enough our lives will be ruined... But you have to save us, earth is going in on war tomorrow." Said Alex.

"We've seen a pattern... Like a maze, we think if we can get to the centre of control on earth, that we would be able to enter it, and it would lead us to the next world station. It's a puzzle, Raxon has made it like its one huge game, but in real life." Said Max.

"You might think that, but something is coming... Something only I can face with strength, it's strong, it's wise, and it's powerful... Whatever it is, it could end earth." Said Jake trying to look into his mind for his knowledge.

"Whatever it is, we will fight till our death!" Shouted Max...

'Couple hours later'

"Get to sleep, we have war tomorrow, and we need strength." Said William.

They all went to rooms and Jakes was small but cozy, he layed on the blue cover sheets and started to go to sleep. They all started to drift off...

'BOOM!!!'...
