I'm not as new to this love thing as I thought I'd be. I thought it would be alien and it would fix everything like nothing I'd ever seen before. But luckily, I was wrong. I know this feeling, I've just not had anyone to give it to until now. And it's the beat of my heart. It's been in me since I was born, it's ached and been alone for so long that I didn't realise I was handing it over to you until I already had. But you gave me yours. Your heart doesn't ache in my chest, it fits so perfectly it belongs with me, and mine belongs with you. Now that you've got my heart in your control, I thought I'd be begging you not to break it, but it's so much safer with you. I trust you with my life, my happiness and my world because it's always been yours. You were meant to have my heart. I was meant to have yours. And I promise, I swear to every force of nature, that I will never let it go. When I say your mine and you say I'm yours, I know exactly what that means.
