It was the first day of high school. I was nervous about going to school because I didn't know what to expect. "NIA!" I heard my mom call my name. "YEAH! "Come here somebody is at the door for you!" She said. I began to walk downstairs didn't know what to expect because it was early in the morning. "Yes mom?" My heart instantly dropped when I looked up and saw my ex at the door. "Jack is here for you." My mom said. Omg why would she even open the door for him?? I smiled slightly at my mom while she walked upstairs. "Jackkk" I said awkwardly. "IT'S ME!" He said smiling "What are you doing here, aren't you suppose to be at school?" I said looking confused. "Look I know I messed up in the pass but I am hoping to change in the future." He said. "Look jack I don't know if I can do this again with you. I actually loved you but you just broke my heart into pieces." I said while looking down. "Nia-" I cut him off "Jack I think you should go." I said. "Ok will guess I will see you in school..." He said while walking away with a sad face. I shut the door and walked back in thinking about all the things that Jack has done to me. How he just screwed me over like he didn't even hurt me. "Nia how did it go?" My mom said while walking down stairs. "It went ok but I am just a little shocked that he tried to get back together with me." My mom just couldn't believe her eyes when I told her about the news. "Yep same as me." I said while walking back upstairs to get ready for school. "Welp that was something." I said. I grabbed something casual to wear and decided to wear my hair out. Example picture:

"Nia are you ready!" My mom said. "Yeah I am ready. " Nia said while walking down stairs." "It is just going to be awkward going to school now. THANKS A LOT GILINSKY." Nia said in her head.

My mom finally dropped me off at school. "Have a good day at school honey." She said while driving off. I took a deep breath in and out before opening the school door. "Here goes nothing!" When I first walked in I saw some familiar faces until I finally saw Jack's face. I fold my arms while walking pass him to go to breakfast. He glared at me and continued to walk. I just rolled my eyes. "NIA!" I heard a familiar voice from behind. "OMG HEY HAILEY!" Hailey is one of my good friends that I can trust and count on. "Hey, it's been soooo long since we have talked." Hailey said. "I know right! How has it been." I said with a smile on my face. "Hmm nothing much my summer just was boring." Hailey and I started to laugh. "What about you?" Hailey said. "Will of course you know about the situation with Jack and I, speaking of jack and I... Guess what?" Hailey was a bit confused. "What?" I ended up telling Hailey the whole story and her face just dropped.
