Chapter 3

   It was a bright morning day to sleep in; then I remembered that I had to meet up with Sho. I quickly woke up and sawed the time it was 11:30 A.M. I said " oh shit!, I'm going to be late to meet up with Sho". I got dressed made my way to the kitchen; I opened up the cupboards and the fridge but I forgot there isn't any food. I rushed downstairs and sawed Sho. I went up to him and said, "Sorry Sho, I over Slept". Sho glazed at my messy hair then said while fixing my hair, "It's okay. I hoped you slept while", with a smile.  When I looked at him my heart skipped a beat. I held on to my chest and thought, "What that hell just happened". "Ms. Starlight let's go," said Sho. I quickly bought my attention to reality and replied, "Sure. Let's go". While going into Sho's car I said, "What's a good bank to deposit my check". Sho put his arm on the armrest and starts taping his fingers,  and replied, " Hmmm.... A good Bank is the one I am in. Is the JP Bank". We went to the bank and finally made my very first bank account in Japan. When we came out of the bank, " Where should we go Ms. Starling". I looked around nervously then whisper, "Don't call me  Starlight in public. Just call me by my real name Jessica okay". "Oh... sorry," Said Sho. " I need to buy a phone, other supplies and food. There weren't non at my home. I think that's it," I said. Sho quickly said, "There is no food in your house ?!" "Yea why?" I replied. Sho quickly grabbed my wrist and took me to the nearest restaurant then he said, "Buy whatever you like". "Okay", I replied with confusion. I ordered then a few minutes the food arrived. "You should have told me earlier that you have no food at your house. You must have been hungry. You have to take care of yourself when your here", Sho said while he was a little flustered. I was eating and said, "Sorry mom". Then Sho looked and took a napkin and wipe my lip that had sauce on it. I smiled at him and said, "Thank you", Sho started gazing at me for a few seconds. "Sho are you okay", I said. " Yea, Sorry it's nothing", Sho replied. 

  After Sho's special treat we went to the car. Sho went to the electronics store so I could buy my new phone and went to the other stores to finish up my shopping. We were driving back, Sho glared at me who was playing on the phone. He took my phone. " Hey!!" I yelled. Sho typed something on my phone and gave it. I looked at my phone it showed Sho's number and email address. Sho glared at me then said, "If you want anything or your in trouble just call or text. Okay". "Okay", I replied. Sho parked his car and helped me with my bags to my apartment.  Then Sho said, "I should be going now, Jessica". " No wait", I said quickly, "I  just want to show my gradated by making you some dinner". He starched his head and looked at me then said, "Well... Fine". I took out all the stuff I bought and laid out the veggies, meat and rice on the counter. Sho was sitting in the dining room. I stared at the food and thought to myself, "Why did I tell him I could make dinner. I can't cook at all".  I scratched my head that my hair got all messy. "What's wrong Jessica", said Sho as he was looking above my shoulders. "It's nothing" while saying that I turned around and Sho was so close that I could feel his breath on my head then my heart was beating again. "Do you know how to cook Jessica", said Sho. I nodded no. "Oh, okay," said Sho then he pulled up his selves that started cutting the veggies, cooking the meat and steaming the rice. I was admiring him while he was cooking. Sho places the food on the table then and he sat in front of me. "It looks delicious," I said as I clap my hands"Thank you for the food". "I try to make the curry good". While Sho was saying that I ate some and my eyes wide open, "Good!! It's AMAZING!!". "Really?!. It's my first time cooking for someone", said Sho Shyly. "yes, it's really good", I said with a smile. "well from now on I want to make your food for you". He said with a smile. "Yes", I replied. We ate our night away with laughter and smiles.

*When the two friends smile and laugh the seed cracked.*
