Chapter Eight

"And I'll be fvck!ng waiting...ready for yo ass."

Falling asleep in Janet's arms felt like I was floating on clouds. I never thought I would enjoy someone toying with my ear continuously until I fell asleep. It was the most soothing feeling I never thought I needed. I rose out of bed with the sun beaming on my face, and the spot where Janet was laying wasn't vacant. I looked around and didn't see her but I smelled food.

"Goodmorning....there's a spare toothbrush in the bathroom. Washcloths and towels are in the closet, and if you want to make it home to get clothes in time for work you should hurry and eat before you go. " She said as she walked in, and she opened the curtains exposing more light in on me. I cover my face as I rub my eyes.

"Goodmorning...and I'm not going to work today," I said as I pull the cover off of me, and I got out of bed. I felt the breeze against my body as I noticed my clothes were on the chair in the corner of Janet's bedroom.

"Is it because of what happened with Bryan..?" Janet asked as she sat down on the edge of the bed as I went to the bathroom to use the toilet, and brush my teeth. I didn't answer right away but It was partially because of him, and the other half of me just wanted to take today off to get some things done.

When I was done in the bathroom I came out, and Janet was waiting for my response as she looked up at me. "Not only that...I just have some things I have to handle." I said as I moved some hair behind my ear and made my way next to Janet. She smelled so good and looked so sophisticated, and all daddyish in her work clothes. She was always dressed so classy and carried herself in such a dominant manner and that was one of the many things that turned me on about her.

"Okay, well...If you want to stay he-

"Skip work with me...I don't wanna be by myself." I said as I cut her off, and I ease my way onto her lap. She accepted me with open arms as she wrapped her arms around me.

"I work to pay my bills, so I can afford to live the way I live. And my savings account is looking really good right now." She said as she licked her lips while her hands roamed my body.

I tilt my head as I wrap my arms around Janet's neck, I bit down on my bottom lip as I lean in to kiss her. " I don't think missing one day will hurt...besides.." I caress the side of Janet's face as I stare at her lips then my eyes wander across her beautiful face and up to her eyes. I grab her tie that she had laying between her breast that was just sitting so lovely in her bra. I toy with it as she rubs my thigh so lovingly. "I put in a good word for you with my boss, and you're going to be getting a raise effective on the next pay period," Janet's face lit up as she smiled.

"Really...? That's great!...wow."

"You've been doing such a great job lately. You haven't even been here six months yet and you're already doing better than reps that have been here long before you."

She was all smiles as she hugged me, she caressed my back as she held me. "Thank you Toni, for everything. I mean you are the one who trained me, and put me on how to survive there so I appreciate it."

"Your welcome Janet.... you are a fast learner. And our boss didn't tell you because I wanted to tell you personally. Sooo...to celebrate your raise....stay home today. And I'll even excuse your absence for you...I'll make the call to Nathaniel." I said as I reach for her phone and held it up for her to unlock it.

"Okay...I can see you're already going to be a bad influence on me. Go ahead and make the call, because while we were in here talking....the breakfast I made for you..well us now...is getting cold in the kitchen." Janet said as she typed in her password and gave me access to her phone, I went to the dial pad and dialed our jobs office number. She stood and put her purse on the bed as she took her blazer off exposing those toned arms...I was so busy staring and admiring her I didn't hear Nathaniel saying hello into the phone until he rose his voice.
