Chapter 2 - Starting New Friendships

A week passed by . And I made a couple of friends so far. As I walked in to my Spanish class my teacher handed me a paper "go to room 235 " it said. I walked down the staircase to the second floor and when I walked in I couldn't help to notice the class was smaller.

"Um I think they changed my Spanish class, I'm new to this class ." I said trying not to look awkward.

I gave her my schedule and she looked at it. I went to take a seat in the back of the class. I put my hoodie up and looked up to notice a girl was looking at me, she seemed quiet but I couldn't stop looking at her light green eyes. She turned away as soon as I looked down.

I noticed she whispered something to the girl next to her. I looked up and the teacher was writing the supplies required for the class . I opened my notepad to write the details down. Most of the class time was talking about each other's background.

As Ms Morales checked the next person to pick on . "Amanda Paris " She said.

When I noticed the girl with the green eyes talk . I finally knew her name . "Well I'm Puerto Rican , Egyptian , and Irish , and I'm a sophomore ." She said.

I was called next and as nervous I am. I said "I'm Dominican and Guatemalan, I'm a freshman." At the corner of my eye I noticed she smiled when she heard me talk.

At the end of the day I had a free periods since I had gym 3 times a week so I decided to go to the auditorium and there I saw my bestfriend ajay cracking jokes, a couple of my other new friends , and that girl with the beautiful light green eyes Amanda.

When I sat down I decided to join their conversation , they were debating whether if they were more gay people then straight people in the school.

At the moment of my life I was confused so I considered myself bisexual. "You're gay right ?" ajay asked me. "Nah I think I'm bisexual " I said . Out of no where I heard a familiar voice " You're lesbian Vanessa". I stopped playing with my keys and looked up.
