The Forsaken

Hi, my name is Myoui Mina.

I am used to get what I want, when I want it, and as how I want it.

That’s how my father, Myoui Akira, raised me.

As compared to my brother Kai, he is much closer to me since ,as he said himself, he saw his younger self on me. It’s like I inherited his characteristics and you know how parents want their children to look like them so they can brag about it? But he somehow not happy that I grew up looking a lot more like mom than him, and what I am saying is – I am drop dead gorgeous.

A lot of people would praise me about my looks but I can only care less because

1) I already know I am beautiful
2) I hate people

Being raised as the heiress of my father’s corporation, he taught me how to be tough and how to classify myself from other people. I was not allowed to talk to just anyone even at school. He would only allow me to socialize with people at our “level”. He said it’s for exclusivity.

Even though I hated it, because I was still a kid and I wanted friends, father made me believe into a whole different world and gave me a code to live by.

I called it The Code of Akira;

I. I am the top- I should not bother looking down to people below me but people below should always look up to me.

II. I should never trust anyone - there’s only two types of people in this world; me and others.

III. The person who controls the money - controls the the people.

IV. People are tools – tools must be used wisely

Our family ranked first in Asia's Wealthiest Family- but even though our family focuses more in corporate business, people don't know that our wealth really came from our technological researches that are the more advance than other research facilities- we spearhead in medical advancement, modern pharmaceutical process e.g anti-bacterial development and  medicines to uncurable diseases. UK, Germany, Russia and United States along with other nations have been buying our research results and products under the table- anyone could say it's an underground business, undisclosed to the media.

Though, it is legal but my father decided to keep this fact about us -hidden.

As for me, I am not interested in any of those – father has been forcing me to learn languages (English, Mandarin, Nihonggo and Korean , French and a lot more), reading body languages which is essential to great businessmen and women, diving into international business strategies and such- but they are all boring for me, yet I had to attend all these so he would allow me to do all the things that I want-

…gaming, dancing and women.

Yes- I am not closing my doors to boys but I am into girls. I literally don’t talk much when I’m around people and it’s not that I keep chasing women, but it’s the other way around actually, THEY keep chasing me. And my bisexual tendencies are not an isolated  fact.

There was even a time when I was 15 years old, that a journalist from a famous international magazine had been caught stalking me – only to get a glimpse of my “odd” interest to same sex.

But surely enough, he didn’t get any. As how I am being extra careful of my sexuality,  I’m a hundred times careful of my “extra curricular” activities, if you know what I mean.

At first, father has been raging about my sexuality and even tried to consult an expert so I can be cured from this “sickness “– but later on he just got tired. He'd always tell me to change my ways but he'll just shrug his shoulders if I answered that I can't. However, he made me promise , that he will allow it only if I follow everything that he says and that I should NEVER disappoint him or bring disgrace to our sacred family name.
