It had been a few days since you settled in the Sakamaki household. You and Yui were now practically separable, talking together or making something in the kitchen. You also managed to befriend the brothers as well, some better than others. For example, you and Kanato managed to bond over the same love of stuffed animals. He had introduced you to his favourite toy, a teddy bear with an eyepatch and a pink vest called Teddy; you and Laito have exchanged causal banter, and he seemed to like your quick-witted responses. Meanwhile, Subaru and Reiji continue to act aloof and standoffish, but sometimes you just start babbling and they just listen quietly, nodding and such.

When Reiji told you that you would be attending school with them, more specifically a night school. You've never been to a night school before and you searched it up after you asked for the school's name.

"Ryotei Academy... school hours are 5pm to 10pm... school encourages students to discover on their on... seems legit," you mutter as you scrolled through the information on the school website. There was a knock on the door and you perked up to see Ayato leaning against the door frame with a clothes cover on his arm.

"Reiji's asked me to give this to you to see if it fits." He walked in and hung it over the foot of the bed. You looked at it with a cocked eyebrow.

"What's this?"

"It's your school uniform, dummy." He flicked your nose and you scrunched it up. Ayato felt his stomach do a flip and confusion settled in him. 'What the Hell?'

You nodded and unzipped the bag to reveal a black blazer with white lining. Beneath the jacket there was a deep red tie and a white dress shirt. There were also black pants to finish the entire outfit.

"Wow, this actually looks pretty nice," you mused. You took the clothes out and laid them out on the bed. You looked up at Ayato with a smile.

"Thanks for bringing this for me Ayato," Ayato felt his stomach flip again when you smiled at him. Well that was certainly... new. "Also thank Reiji for preparing the uniform for me." The redhead felt the pleasant feeling get soiled by an unexplainable wave of jealousy. You should only be thanking him! After all, he was the one who brought the uniform up to your room instead of his butler of a brother.

"You're welcome, (Y/N)," He felt his the corner of his lips lift up to return the smile, and not form his usual smirk. "Now go to sleep, it's really late."

"'Kay, goodnight to you, too, Ayato, and see you in the morning." You gave a small wave to the redhead before he left. Standing up, you grabbed the uniform and draped it over the chair by the writing desk. You then folded the clothes cover and placed it in the corner of your wardrobe.

Going back to your bed, you fell asleep the moment your head hit the pillow.

The next day, the Sakamaki brothers, Yui and you piled into the brothers' limousine (like seriously how wealthy was this family?). Yui had sat down next to Subaru, who was looking out the window, and pat the empty seat next her. Smiling, you plopped down. Kanato, with his teddy, sat down next to you and pulled your sleeve to get your attention. Even though the boy might be older than you and taller than you, he still acted like a child, which you didn't mind, and in fact found rather cute.

"(Y/N), Teddy says hello," he shoved the bear in front of your face and you patted the stuffed animal's head.

"Oi! (Y/N) should be sitting next to Yours Truly!" Ayato barked. Kanato hugged the bear closer to him and squished towards you while glaring at his brother.

"Well, I was here first, so get another seat!" The lilac-haired boy stuck his tongue out. Ayato looked like he was about to rip Laito's head off, while the others had varying degrees of amusement on their faces.
