Hello! I finally began my new story! I'm so happy! I hope people read it and I hope you like it! Vote, Comment, and Rate!
She's a good girl, loves her mama
Loves Jesus and America too
She's a good girl, crazy 'bout Elvis
Loves horses and her boyfriend too
It's a long day, livin' in Reseda
There's a freeway, runnin' through the yard
And I'm a bad boy, 'cause I don't even miss her
I'm a bad boy for breakin' her heart
And I'm free, free fallin'
Yeah I'm free, free fallin'
The lyrics of Tom Petty's Free Fallin' consumed my bedroom as I awoke Saturday morning. This song reminded me of when I was little. My Mom, Dad, Veronica, and I would sit in the living room and sing along to it when I was younger. I was too lazy to turn it off so I just layed there in my bed letting the past memories run through my mind. I then started to sing along to the familiar words.
All the vampires, walkin' through the valley
Move west down, Ventura Blvd.
And all the bad boys, are standing in the shadows
All the good girls, are home with broken hearts
And I'm free, I'm free fallin'
Yeah I'm free, free fallin'
I wanna glide down, over Mulholland
I wanna write her, name in the sky
I wanna free fall, out into nothin'
Gonna leave this, world for awhile
And I'm free, free fallin'
Yeah I'm free, free fallin'
And I'm free, free fallin'
Oh!
Free fallin'
And I'm free, oh! free fallin'
As the song concluded I couldn't hold back the tears anymore. I let the tears flood down my cheeks and onto the bedroom sheets. Crying wasn't new for me. I had basically cried everyday of my life since I was six. That was when my life began to go downhill.
I dragged myself out of bed and trudged towards the bathroom. I grabbed my brush and combed through my waist-long raven black hair which was stick straight and had multiple violet streaks. Then I applied some dark shades of makeup which consisted of blacks and dark purples. I walked over to my closet to choose an outfit. I decided to wear a plain black tank top with a purple and black striped hoodie over it. Then I put on simple black jeans and black combat boots.
I walked down the stairs of the three-story mansion in which I shared with my best friend Rosie Parks. I've known her since I was five-years old and we have been best friends for the past fifteen years. She was average height like me, tanned skin, bright blue eyes, and curly blonde hair that went a little past her shoulders. She was a LOT more girlier than me!
She was kind of a big deal in Hollywood since she was a famous actress on some dramatic show on T.V. I didn't really understand the drama, but she tried to talk me through it when we watched it together.
