I got dressed and headed out to meet Hayley. I don’t know why I took such a liking to that girl. Even when I thought she was dating Liam. But now that I know she is his sister I like her even more. I smile remembering my visit to the fire station. He looks so good in a uniform. Plus he was nice to me and took care of my father.

When I arrived at Hayley’s, I jumped out of the car and headed up the steps.  “What’s up chick?”

“Hey” she said a little sad.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing I woke up feeling a little down today. How’s your father?” I could tell she must be missing her own father. I heard mom and dad talking once about how their mom was a single mother. I walked over to her and gave her a big hug.

“My father will be fine. I am sure he will take you in as a stray daughter as he took in your brother. May like you better then me. Seeing as how I cause him heart attacks. You might even say I’m a heart stopper.” I smirked making her laugh.

“Well hell girl. I know for certain you make my brothers heart stop.”

I instantly sobered up “do you really think he likes me? I’ve been a major bitch to him.” I say looking down at my feet.

“Oh please, I think that was what made him like you. You didn’t fall at his feet. Men like a challenge.” Haley said.

“Is that why you’re making Blake chase after you” I tease.

“Sweet mercy” she says fanning herself. “That cousin of yours has my body raging out of control. He should be outlawed for causing half the things my mind thinks of.”

I started to laugh trying so freaking hard not to think of her and Blake in any compromising um, well you know. “Let’s roll’ I say instead and she went with me to the garage.  I wanted her to help out. Well ok, I wanted her to spend more time with Blake. This just happened to be the perfect excuse for it. I turned to see she had her glasses on today. I smiled, because I know Blake always talks about fantasies with a librarian and removing her bun and glasses.
