It was the end of the day and the bell rung, Daniel jumped out of his seat and quickly gave his paper to mr James "thank you Daniel" mr James says with the same friendly smile he always has, he makes his way back to his seat grabbing all his stuff and then making his way to you, "hey Doll" he says, you smile at the name "you get it? Because your as perfect as a doll" he says scratching the back of his head and letting out a nervous laugh, "no I don't because I'm definitely not perfect, not even close" you say laughing at his attempt to be cute, "well if you guys are done being cute I was gonna ask y/n if she wanted to go to Wallflower Diner" Oliver asks pushing Daniel outta the way, "I've been dying to go there for a while now" you say with a wide smile "can I come" Daniel asks, budding into the conversation, you look over to Oliver who was on his phone not even paying attention "who could it hurt" you say grabbing your bag and heading out the door "see you Monday" mr James calls out to you as walk out "you too" you say not looking back for even a second.
(Wallflower diner, 6:00 pm)
You guys have been at the diner for a little over two hours joking and playing around with each other, you were having the time of your life. "Ok ok listen, have you guys seen that video of that dog dancing to Taylor Swift" Daniel says busting out laughing, his laughter filling up the empty diner causing you and Oliver to bust out laughing "you guys seen it?" Daniel asks when he finally can get a breather, "no" you and Oliver say at the same time, Daniel looks at you too with a confused face "then why were you laughing" he ask giggling a little "because you were laughing" you say smiling. "Oh shoot" Oliver says looking down at his phone "what" you say looking over to him "I gotta go" he says jumping across you, he digs in his back pocket for his wallet, "ummmm here you go" he sets a fifty in the table "tell the waiter to keep the change" he says before dashing out the door, you and Daniel look at each other before laughing historically, "did he know the bill was only 20" Daniel says laughing even harder, which makes you laugh harder, he takes the fifty in exchange for a 30 "here" he says giving you the fifty "I can't take that" you say lifting your hands up "give it to Oliver" he says laughing a little "oh ok" you say before shoving the 50 in you pocket. "Need a ride home?" Daniel asks "nope" you say crossing your arms and giving him a stern look, he looks at you a little confused "what?" He says taking a sip of his water "if I let you give me a ride, it's gonna be just like the movies" you say looking at him as a smile appears on his face "and what exactly happens in the movies" he says leaning on the table with his same smirk, the same smirk that makes your knees weak, you lean on the table as he did, your face inches away from his "if you take me home, we'll get in the car and have a perfect car ride home, it'll have laughter, flirting, everything you can think of, but when we get to my house there'll be this awkward silence, neither of us knowing what to do" Daniel interrupts you with his ending of the story "we'll look at each other confused on what happens next" he says smiling "ill lean in just enough for you to feel my breath on your neck, then I'll lean in further and give you a slow, passionate kiss, just like in the movies" he says sitting back in his seat, a few seconds go bye of him staring at you with the same smirk "well I guess your right" he says, standing up "but since you obvious dont want that, I'll just go" he says with a smirk. He grabs his bag and leaves, you sit back in your seat when you hear the door close "did that just happen" you say biting your lip "it sure did" the waiter says smiling as she collects the bill and tip "teenagers" she says shaking her head and walking back to the register.
Explanation- so in the beginning of the story y/n was fiesty and kinda a trouble maker but as Daniel comes around, if you haven't noticed she's changed. This chapter should show you how much 🥰🤗
