Chapter 5: Bad and Good Memories

The mauraders map is a map that let's you see where everyone is in the castle at any time. To reveal the map you say the phrase 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good' and then to hide the map you say 'mischief managed'. Why am I just now finding out about this? They nicked it from Filches office first year. Which means they didn't tell me for four years.

That night I couldn't stop thinking of how I just stunned George, I felt threatened and I just stunned him, my best friend. I feel things are weird between us. But, I need to know who's pretending to be them and what information they were trying to get out of me. I know George would never take it personally, but I've never been like that before. Stunning my own best friend? And I didn't even get to talk to them about my bogart situation.

I walk up to Fred and George and ask if I can sit, they nod at me as I sit in between them. I open my book and begin to read when Dumbledore stands up to talk. Everyone looks at the front of the room.

"It has come to my attention that a werewolf has been seen on the castle grounds." He says.

Everyone except Fred, George and I are whispering to each other.

"It is imperative that you follow the school rules and stay inside when told to do so. There could be serious damage to those who do not listen." I swear Dumbledore is looking straight at us.

Dumbledore takes his seat as I look at all the teachers, I notice how sick professor Lupin looks. Hes staring at me intently and now I'm afraid for classes on Monday. Hes gonna make me do the damn bogart again.

"Hey, we should go to The Three Broomsticks today." Fred says.

"And Zonko's." George says.

I can still feel the tension between us after last night. I feel horrible, it's like I had no control over it. We arent the only ones who feel the tension, its stretched to the other side of the table as Hermione and Harry stare at us.

"Is everything okay?" Hermione says, looking from Fred to me to George.

"You two go ahead to Hogsmeade without me. I've got some things I want to do today." I say, getting up from the table.

I leave the Great Hall while Fred and George glance at me before getting back to their breakfast. Harry and Hermione are staring at them.

"Seriously, what is happening? You guys are connected at the hip." Harry says.

"Someone drank polyjuice potion to become us, they tried drowning her in the lake-" Fred starts.

"So you're just gonna leave her be right now?" Hermione interrupts.

"We're not finished." The twins say in unison.

"a bloody werewolf came after her. She did pretty well with it, when I got to her, I had to shield her from the thing, it was gonna rip her to pieces." George says.

"Big black dog came out of no where and attacked the werewolf. We ran back to the castle, naturally got detention by Snape and then she raised her wand at us." Fred says.

"Said she couldn't trust us. Told us to tell her something only she would know, I told her i was the one who knocked her out. She didn't like that answer and stunned me, I fell on the ground." George says.

"She stunned you?" Harry says, leaning closer. The twins nod.

"Give her some slack, you two, look at what's happened, shes been attacked by you two, well, people who look like you. Her bogart didn't go so well yesterday seeing as she saw herself kill you two in it. Shes scared. Didn't you notice? Her hair color wont change from black and purple. It stayed like that the whole time. Yeah, she stunned you, George, but it couldve been worse." Hermione says.
