"Mom no please, I don't want to move in with Jeffrey, can't he come over here instead?" I beg my mom.

"Honey I'm sorry, but no we can't stay here, it's too far away from where I'm going to be working and Jeffrey is expecting us and the moving trucks are already here." She told me.

I sigh and give in because there is nothing I can do.

In case you haven't realized, I'm moving in with my mom to my Step Dad's house his name is Jeffrey Seavey so that makes me y/n Seavey.

I'm cringing.

Him and my mom just got married so yeah, that happened.

My mom and I begin packing the rest of our stuff and wait for the moving guys to get our stuff.

My mom and I get in her car and head to Jeffrey's house, well our house now too.

It takes about 2 hours to get there but we finally arrive.

I'm reluctant to gettin out the car, but my mom drags me out instead.

She knocks on the door and soon enough Jeffrey opens the door greeting us with hugs.

"Welcome to your new house." He said smiling.

He's nice I'll admit but I don't feel comfortable about this yet.

He asks us if we want anything and I say water.

He goes to go get it and comes back with the water and hands it to me.

I thank him and he sits down next to my mom.

They begin talking and I just get on my phone.

"Are they here?" I here someone say.

Soon enough I look up and a boy is coming down the stairs with his phone in his hand so he is looking down at it and I can't see his face.

When finally was down he looks up at us and I can see his face clearly.

He had piercing blue eyes that you could probably get lost in if you looked at them for too long and a tooth gap that would probably make any girl fall head over heels for him.

Who was this guy and how come I didn't see him at the wedding? I wonder to myself.

As if reading my mind Jeffrey answers my questions.

"This is my son Daniel, he was on tour with his band while the wedding happened, and he couldn't make it in time but he is here now." He told my mom and I.

"How wonderful to finally meet you." My mom said bringing Daniel in for a hug and he hugged her back.

After he finished hugging my mom he turned to face me.

He looked expectant of me to hug him like my mom or something, I wanted to roll my eyes.

Instead, I stuck out my hand.

"Hey, I'm Y/N." I say giving him a fake smile.

He smiles back and shakes my hand.

"Nice to meet you, welcome to the family." He says.

My mom and Jeffrey turn around and Daniel winks at me.

I stand there in confusion but I shrug it off.

He lets go of my hand and goes somewhere leaving me with my mom and his dad.

So I have a famous step brother and he's okay looking, how am I supposed to live like that?

1 month later

Being a Seavey isn't bad at all I can't go to public school instead I have to do online school and I met Daniel's friends or band mates or however you want to look at it.

They were nice, and they are all good looking.

Daniel and I have gotten friendlier with each other and he's not as bad as I thought he would be.

Daniel's dad is nice too and I'm beginning to call him dad.

I hear a knock at my door and I know it's Daniel.

"Come in." I say as I was lying down on my bed scrolling through my phone.

"Hey y/n." Daniel said.

I sit up, "hey, what's up?" I ask him.

"Nothing really." He tells me.

He comes and sits down next to me.

I turn to look at him and I never realized how good looking he was.

Wait hold on he's off limits he's your step brother I think to myself.

I try to stop think about him but he's sitting right next to me so it was hard.

"Daniel, I have things to do so if you could go that would be good." I say trying not to sound mean.

He looks at me puzzled but shrugs and stands up and walks away leaving my room.

I sigh, I can't like Daniel he's my step brother it's just not right.
