So hi, I'm working on the book promise, thanks to anyone who's read it so far lol it's gonna be good so just keep holding on and I WILL finish, promise! And this is Josh up here!
My feet are pushing me on through the crowd. Everyone's filing out of the pods to the busses so we can all go home. As I walk out of pod A I tug my beanie down around my shoulder length brown-black hair, popping in my ear buds and turning up the volume. I stare at the faces of the young middleschoolers waiting patiently for all us highschoolers to load up. Its Friday, the week before the last week of school. For them at least! I mentally laugh to myself, "I guess I'm the lucky one who gets to go to the beach a week early!" as I keep treading towards my bus. I barely hear my friend Josh yell my name til he's beside me. "CARMENNNNN!" I nearly jump out of my skin and yank out an ear bud. "Jesus, Josh...way to scare me," I grinned. "What's up?" He smiles casually and looks up at me a bit. As I am 5'5, Josh is like, 5'2 1/2, so short compared to me. "Not much," he he says. "Just got something for you." He hands me something that looks like folded up tissue or something. "Umm," I begin "Who is it from?" "Its from Jacob, he says to give it to you." I sigh and can't help but blush a bit at the thought of Jacob. Jake's is one of my newfound guy friends, and we've only just started talking. He's only an inch shorter than me and has floppy brown hair that always falls in his face, he's thin but filled out, with a pretty oval face and blue eyes. "Well, I got to go, see you later Carmen!" Josh yells as I walk on. I wave at him then curiously unfolded the paper. UGH, it's folded TOILETPAPER? What, did he not have some scratch paper? It says, 427-195-6420 Jacob :3 text me? ;p
