Frenemies

   "Ow ow ow, dude not so hard you know I hurt my wrist, you were there when it happened!" Anna cried as she tugged her arms away.

   "Oops? Sorry Anna, nothing personal." Cassie said with humor in her voice, probably thinking about how Anna had tripped over her own foot while walking home and fallen on her wrist.

   "Oh shut up Cas, you say that every time, and we all know Im going to escape so why are we even doing this?" Anna questioned.

"Its Cassie not Cas you know I hate being called that!" She snapped annoyedly with venom laced in her voice.

   "Hey guess what? I dont care just let me go!" Anna whined.

   "You know I cant do that, fathers orders." She said with a somewhat remorseful voice.

   "Ok but did you really have to tie me up? You couldve just grabbed me." Anna said with a roll of her eyes.

   "But whats the fun in that?" Cassie asked with a smirk on her face. "Plus," she added, "Itll only be a minute or two before your father shows up to save the day"

   Anna sighed while muttering incoherently under her breath.

   The two continued to bicker and fight as Cassie dragged Anna away. You are probably wondering whats happening right now. You see, Anna and Cassie have known each other since they were babies, even when they fought. Cassie never was a fan of sharing her toys with Anna and Anna was a bit of a cry baby. But yet they still did have a soft spot for one another, they had known each other for so long how could they not? They were basically each others only real friends.

   The two had terrible backgrounds and were always there for one another when needed. Although they still fight, a lot. I guess you could call them frenemies. They were both born into rival gangs so they were raised to hate one another, but its hard to hate someone who was always there for you. Anna Rigatti and Cassie De Leon live a life of constant war but want nothing  but to live normal lives. Will they learn to put aside the hate that they were taught to have for one another and help each other, or will they follow in their parents footsteps and hate each other forever?
