Hello,

I'm Aris .S. Crust and I'm telling my story. It was in the late October, and school had started. I was only 13 and in 7th grade. I had all of my classes and all of my friends. It was a great start to the year.

I live with my mom and dad. I'm an only child. Ok, I'll get to the story. I bet your dying to know what's going to happen. It was a normal day. I woke up, but the only difference was I fell out of my bed. I went downstairs. It was cold;I was only wearing my pajamas. I went down to eat. My mom was still asleep. She worked at night, and my dad worked in the day. They said it was better so they could spend more time with me. I didn't really care; I had my friends. All kids need their space. I did too. So I went down stairs my dad was making something, but I never eat it sometimes. It's always something crazy like eggs and pizza. So I ate my pizza, but not the eggs. I hugged him, went up the stairs, and got ready. I didn't take too long. My room is messed up like crazy, but I know where everything is. I got my backpack and sweater, and then I went down stairs. I saw the time. It was early so I started walking to school. When I got there, I saw my friends: Edith, Diana, Jose, and Alex. I walked up the stairs of Tiger High School. They were just talking when I came up.

"What's up, Paris?" Alex asked.

"Nothing much", I replied.

"Cool." He said.

I've had a crush on him since first grade. Yea, I know, I'm crazy. A lot of people tell me that. I think he likes me back, but it's hard to tell, you know?

"Hey, Aris, are you going to Josh's party?" Edith asked me.

I said, "I don't know. I'll try to go."

Diana was just looking at me. "You said the same thing last year and you didn't go."

Josh has a party every year. His parents make a big deal out of it. I just stared at Diana. I didn't like to go to the parties because you had to dress up. I don't like having to dress up.

 Jose was about to say something then the bell rang.

"See you at lunch." I waved bye and then left.

Alex and I had our first hour together, so we went to our lockers together. His was next to mine. I opened my locker and said to him " I'm happy that I got you next to me instead of Jimmy."

"Yea, me too." He said.

Jimmy was a kid that was in love with gum. He always had it with him. He was kind of cute if you looked pass the gum that was always on him.

 He was tall with brown hair that was not that long, green eyes like candy. He was taller than me, and I'm 5.4. He was about six feet tall, and he played in everything baseball, football all of it. The only thing was the gum. HHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhe always had it in his mouth, and on his locker. So that's why I'm happy he not my next door locker buddy. So the five minute bell rang. That's what gets me mad. The bells are all the same its like ''ring'' oh that's the ten min bell, and I'm like how you know that. Then it's like the person saying because I know I have powers. Powers my butt only powers you got is get someone mad. Then you hit them and a fight starts. So the bell rang then Alex and I went off to our first class it's was reading. I hate that class. Reading to me is a big boring affair. I know one day I'll need it, but you know. My teachers say I'm at a 10th grade reading level. Yea, I don't believe it. Miss. Angela is microscopic and has black hair. I think she has kids, but who knows. I can't spell if my life depended on it. That's a reading fact. The bell rang again. So I went to my locker got my books then Alex came up to me after talking to Jose and Jimmy. Then he said ''hey Aris can I ask you something'' I looked at him wondered what he was going to say. Then it hit me like crazy. He was going to ask me out to josh's party. Then he said ''hey Aris would you like to go with me to josh's party''. ''I know how you don't like to dress up and all, but you don't have to and I won't if you won't'' he said looking into my eyes. My heart stopped it felt like an hour. I turned blood red. Then when I was going to say something the last bell rang right when I was going to tell him. Then he said ''we better not become late tell me at the lunchroom ok''. Then he walked away. He was so happy. I was too, and I didn't even tell him yes. Did he already know that I like him? That's what I thought all the way to my next class the time few like food at lunch. The funny thing was I was in English that's where time stops for me. Diana was in my English class I was happy. I wrote her a note of what happen. Then right when she was going to past it back to me; Mr. Parker took it from me. I hate him. He so mean to me out of the whole class he picks me to pick on.  He read the note with his big bug eyes then look at me. Mr. Parker was very tall and thin. He had lots of hair that was so black it looks like he was dead. Then he look at me then said 'Miss. Crust this is very hmmm...' that's what he always says when he gets my notes. Then he said 'I'm sure the rest of the class would like to know what you and Diana are talking about''. I put my head down and said under my breathe 'jerk' then he said 'what was that?'' ''Nothing'' I said. He stated to read then I turned red. So red that Diana asked me if I was ok. He stared to read 'Aris said this to Diana hey you would not believe this then Diana said what tell me come tell me then Aris said Alex ask me out to josh party''. Then he looked up from my note, and then he placed it on my desk. I looked up and everyone was looking at me with big eyes. The thing was josh was in my class, and after class he came up to me with a big smile and gave me a note. I read it as I walked down the hall with Diana. It said ''I'm glad I can help, and I hope you and Alex have a good time. Oh yea don't forget to dress up'. It read then I passed it Diana. She kept saying sorry, and I kept on telling her it was ok.  All my classes flew by and it was lunch. I was kind of scared. I knew that everyone would be looking at me when I sit at our lunch table. We have this table were we all sit at lunch and just talk. I saw him already there and he was looking at me with his big smile. I could not help but to smile back at him. I got my lunch and pay for it then I walked over to our table. That's when I saw eyes turn, and I was about to turn red. Then I saw Josh look at me with the same dam smile he had on when he gave me the note. That's when it happen I turned red. He had both of his thrums up and he was smiling. Then it all went black I drop my tray. Then all I remember was waking up in the nurse office, and Alex was their holding my hand. I had an ice pack on my head. I sat up, but not too fast. I took the ice pack off my head and looked at him. He looked at me then he said 'hey are you ok?' I didn't answer, but I said 'what happen all I remember is....' then I stopped. I know what happen I fainted. Then I looked at him I said' I'm so sorry' he looked at me then he started laughing. Then he said 'if I saw josh face I would faint too''. I started laughing. Then I said 'the answer to your question is yes'. He looked at me like he didn't know what I was talking about, and then a look of understanding came over his face. He said 'oh that question I'm happy. I can't tell you how happy I am'. Then I saw what time it was, but I thought it was wrong. He asked me 'what are you looking at so hard'. I didn't answer again but asked my own question 'how long was I out?' Then he said well school going to be over in about ten ill say the whole day'. Then the bell rang. Then nurse came in and said 'I'm glad you're up this young man has been waiting for you the whole day'. I looked up at him and smiled at him and then at her. I got up and walked out the door so then we went to our lockers. Then the one person that I didn't want to see came up to me with a little note. It was Josh then he said 'I hope your ok, and can still can to the party' he said the last worlds with a big smile and looked at me then Alex. I turned red again. Alex looked up to me and said 'are you going to be ok'. I looked up at him with a funny look on face and said' why wouldn't I be' I laugh little under my breath. Then we walked out Diana, Edith and Josh was waiting for us. Diana said 'hey Aris are you ok; when you fall Alex stated freaking out; he caught you before you fell'. I looked at him, and my eyes were open. They were bigger than they ever been. Yea, that's what love dose to you. Makes you crazy well I was crazy before love hit me. I looked at him, and this time I wasn't turning red he was. Diana, Edith started to laugh then they looked at me then at Alex. Jose said something into Alex ear. I didn't hear what he said, but I was ok with it. You know that feeling you like somebody, and one of your friends have to over react about it. Yea, I think that's how it was for him, that's why Jose (the other boy in our group of friends) had to tell him something. We all walked home we lived in a small town. So we can go any were without are parents getting freaked out. I live in a small part of Chicago. I know you hear all the bad things, but what about the good things about Chicago. The only thing I hate is the snow two more mounts, and boom cold snow that goes up to your hips. We walked home, and it was just me and Alex we were in front of my house. Then he said 'I'll pick you up at five, if that's cool with you'. He said it with a big smile that always feels my heart with hope and joy. I said 'sure but don't for get to dress up, ok'. He looked at me with his big green eyes that change some times, and said with a big smile 'cool'. We said our good bye, and then he left. I went up to the door. That opened with a noise so on edge that I jumped. It hit the wall, and my dad came running out. Then he hugged me, and then he said 'where have you been were so scared of what happen to you'. I rolled my eyes, but he didn't see then I said 'dad I'm only late by a half an hour, and I told you that I would be, because I walked home with my friends'. Mom was just looking at us with a little smile on her face then she said 'he cares about you and so do I; so lighten up, ok'. My mom is what you call a cool/mom/understanding person but sometimes she really bites. She has her up's and down's, but I love he to death. Then I said 'ok mom, I will'. Then after my dad hugging me what seems like an hour in kid's years and time he let me go. I went up to my room. I put everything away then I looked at the clock I still had time. So I thought I would clean up then get ready at four. It was only three now. I got done with my cleaning, and this time I didn't do a half time job. It was all clean even under my bed. I never do that well I guess I can just feel it's going to be a great day. This is what I had to worrier about; what am I going to be! I forgot about that. This was not good he was going to dress up, and show up here, and I'm not going to dress up as anything but me. Then I thought of something. I'll look in the basement. I can find something that looks like a princess dress and mom old wedding crown. I did it now I just have to make it through the night without making myself look like a fool. I went down stairs then to the basement. I started moving boxes around. The floor was really cold I didn't have my shoes on. I left them upstairs. I find a beautiful dress that was bight baby blue. It had a white lining, and at the top was a blue rose that looked like ice and glass put together. It was long. It was perfect. I'm not really in to pink, but if I find a dress like this one nicer than this one then I'll take it, maybe. I know in my heart that I wouldn't change it for any pink dress even if it was better than this one. I don't think any other dress would be better than this one. I didn't find my mom crown, but I found another, and that match the dress. I'm so lucky right now. But right next to it was something better then the crown and dress and crown put together. It was a sliver and blue necklace. It had a four blue like rubies on it. I can't believe it. I found all this in the basement. If I know all this was here before I would have come here for picture day. If I put this all together ill look like a real primness. I get all of the great things I found and went back to my room. Then I just remember I need dress shoes! I forgot all about it. I hope I have enough time. I have black dress shoes, ok this can work. I got ready in the bathroom in the hallway that's two doors down from my parent room. I got everything I would need and went to the bath room. I put it all on and it fit. It felt like it was made for me, and it looked great. I did my hair it was pretty easy to do. I had long but not too long curly light brown hair. My eyes are green but they change just like Alex. I looked in the merrier; I didn't look like me. The girl in the merrier was beautiful. I didn't need any make up. My mom says it messes up your face when you're older. Then I heard something down stairs. I yelled 'I got it '. I went to the door and opened it slow. It was him and you would believe this he looked like a real prince.  He had a blue tie and a crown of his own on. I looked at him with wide eyes and he did the same to me. We didn't say a thing, but we just looked at each other. Then I heard my mom say from up stairs 'Aris is everything ok'. I yelled back to her "yea mom I'm just going to go with one of my friends to josh party' she yelled back 'ok have a good time call me if anything happens'. I got my blue coat that matched everything. Then we were on our way.
