Jason was a normal kid. He went to school, he lived in a small town, and wore hoodies all the time. But there was one thing that set Jason apart from the other kids...
He was missing an eye.
You see, Jason's father was abusive. Jason forgot to do a chore, his father beat him up, like usual. But this time, Jason summed up the courage to fight back. He lost the battle, obviously, but how he lost is... Interesting. Jason was pushed into a cabinet and a knife fell out of the rack. Jason grabbed it just before it could touch his brain. His eye was not so lucky. His father picked him up and took him to the hospital. They couldn't save the eye, so they took it out.
Now he was alone. Not even his closest friends could look at him without fear in they're eyes.
School had ended, and as if being silently ridiculed was enough, he got a call from his father, and let it go to voicemail.
F- Son, you're mother is in the hospital. They think it's cancer.. so, come back home, and... We'll get takeout, Ok? Ok. Call me back.
J- Great, a day of rejection and a mother in the hospital.
So Jason walked home.
F- Wanna go to taco Bell?
J-Taco Bell isn't real meat.
F- THEN WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?
Jason's father was getting annoyed.
J- Subway..
Jason's father slapped him across the face so hard he was bleeding. He was going to slap again when Jason pulled a knife out of the rack and stabbed him in the chest. His father three the knife to the ground.
F- I raised my boy tough.
Jason's father bled out on the floor. Jason walked up to the corpse that was now on his floor and closed his father's eyes.
J- Rest in peace.
The next day Jason got a letter from the hospital. His mother had died. In tears he walked back up to the house and collapsed on his bed.
J- What now?
