Jason opened his eye. He was still alive. Upon further inspection, Jeff still had his knife above his chest. Jason then looked to the doorway. The tall man was there. There was also a child hiding behind him. She had no eyes, and she seemed to be made out of flesh stitched together.
SM- Jeff, put the knife down. Is that any way to treat a new comer?
The man sounded like Jason's father, on the rare occasion when he wasn't going to beat him.
SM- I am sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I am the Slenderman. And this is my beloved daughter Sally.
The girl waved to Jason. Jason waved back.
SM- The others should be here soon. Tonight we will have a banquet to celebrate the new proxy. Oh! And before I forget.
Slenderman drew a symbol on Jason's forehead.
SM- Tonight you will take the oath. I hope you enjoy your new life.
Slenderman and Sally left the room. Jason opened his eyes. He could see in the dark now.
TT- So what'd you think of the boss?
J- He is a sinister, yet comforting presence. Not malicious, and seems to be... Just lonely.
JTK- Heh, wait'll you get a mission.
Sally walked back into the room.
S- I like your eye.
She gave him a faint smile, and walked off.
This was the happiest he felt since before his father began to beat him.
