Two days later she woke up in her family's hospital for animals and people. She cursed under her breath as she tried to sit up and discovered a long line of stitches on her side from where the lightning struck her. Not only did she feel pain in her side, but throughout her entire body. Her cells were rewriting her DNA to accommodate the lion cub's blood that bled into her once open wound. It seemed like in two days of sleep she was reborn. Of course she still had her original personality but now it was more fierce due to the lion's blood. Her pupils were no longer round, they had turned to slits, sharp because she was in pain. Tammy's thoughts escaped her current physical changes and went straight to meat, because boy was she hungry. It wasn't just her eyes that changed though, four of her teeth were shaped to be lion fangs. Her lion half took over her body due to hunger and she ran out of the hospital on all fours, running at a lion's speed towards the exit. Once she escaped she tracked down a herd of antelope. Tammy dropped down into a low crouch and crept towards her prey. Claws unsheathed out of her nails as she got closer to the nearest one. Just. A. Little. Closer. And. There! (WARNING: Hunting Scene) She pounced upon her prey as the rest of the herd ran in fear of the hybrid as she bit onto her prey's neck while it struggled to get away. Her grip on its neck tightened until it fell limp in her jaws. She roared in satisfaction before she dragged it towards her family's hospital. Right outside the walls she feasted on her first prey. Soon her human side returned and her claws sheathed themselves and her eye pupils grew big in realization of what had happened. "Oh my god, what have I done " she said in confusion. She gazed upon the bones of the once alive antelope.
