Elizabeth Reyes yes, that's my public figure, but they call me Beth for short because Elizabeth is a god damn mouthful. When I say 'They' I mean my friends cause that would be weird if a stranger knew my name... but anyway.
I live in New York city and yeah its busy but at night its like worth getting crushed.
I desire to be an artist, but for now I guess Starbucks is my only choice. But the good news is I get to make myself drinks WHOOOP!! But shhhhh! Don't tell them or I might get canned.
I'm 18 and legal *que winking face* but I'm not a slut oh no, no, I would rather stay home and make love to food..... Judge if you want to I know you jelly.
So todays a boring day I'm working then sleeping after that then waking up early, then working, then sleeping the- you get the idea. Hehe.
As the door opens, I squint to see the new customer and as my eyes adjusted i saw its an old lady who comes here often.... Too often. So I began to reach her usual black coffee and blueberry muffin.
"Hello dear, can I have-" I cut her off and supposed "black coffee and a blueberry muffin yes,I'm brewing the coffee as we speak." I said with a sigh. "Dear how has your day been going?" She sounded out like she did every day.. "Good yeah... perfectly fine." I said with a false smile.
It's not that I have a problem with old saggy ladies its just she's always too happy when its 10am. It's even raining and this lady talks to me like I was a kid. The coffee made a funny noise and then I knew it was finished.
"I'll be sit-" I cut her off knowing her answer anyway "Yes, you can sit in Betty." I smiled as she walked off and slumped myself on the counter "It's going to be a long day" i sighed
Five hours later its 5pm and my shift for a Mondays passed. Thank the dear lord baby Jesus.
Taking away my apron I spoke "Sam, I'm heading home my shifts over ill see you tomorrow"I said with a smile knowing I'm going to my bed "Alrighty, see you bubs" he waved as I walked out letting the cold air hit me like a ton of bricks. The rain moved away around two and left misty waves in the air. "Alright, let's make it home." I muttered to myself and headed for my car.
