Code Geass: the next story

Sealed

Ok so I turned the last 2 chapters that I written on all the possible sides and, in the light of the fact that as a fan I don't want to go with the theory that Lelouch is still alive and is living his life peaceful in the present I'm gonna go with something different. Hope you'll enjoy it.

        Lelouche's POV:

        The steps were so close that I could even determinate the speed that they were approaching (1m/ 50sec if you're interest in it).

        CC was looking at the door with a half suspicious, 45% sad and a 5% of barely visible fear expression. I keep looking at the door wondering why were 2 different step patters when Nunnaly's wheelchair made very little sound. Still there were just 2 presence behind the door.

        "Ready?" I heard Suzaku's voice

        "Yeah... I hope." Nunnaly's voice was weak but determined. "Yes." she said the 2nd time more confident.

         I almost could HEAR Suzaku's smile as he started pushing the knob.

        When they entered the room I could see 3 different expressions passing over Nunnaly's face. Fear, distrust and finely pure happiness. 

        "Brother..." she said with her voice drown in tears.""Brother! You survived."

        I smiled. Besides my happiness of seeing Nunnaly again I was also a little amused by the fact that when he saw me Suzaku and put hands on eyes in a instinctive gesture of disbelief. Than he reminded that he was wearing the mask.

        "Yeah, unfortunate for the world, I survived" 

        "Don't say that! You're a hero" Nunnaly said as she was encouraging me

        Then Suzaku noticed that CC's Geass symbol was still visible through fringe bangs. 

        "But, how?"

        "I don't know ask the king that you served as a Knight of Rounds. He could probably tell you much more."

        Suzaku was desperate trying to keep his cool. "Why?" 

        I snuggled "None of us had a word in this matter. Not if we're finished with my interrogation," I pointed the capsule "What's this?"

        "It was Suzaku's idea" Nunnly said, embarrassed as she would of been the one that proposed it.

        I could feel Suzaku's guilt. I smiled, actually I wanted to tell him that it was a great idea. That I had to be dead for the sake of the world and now that I had the code this was the closest notion of "death" that I could achieve. The sealing in capsule was the right thing to do.

         Sill I couldn't say it in the front of Nunnaly and CC. "Nunnlay, CC can you bring me glass of water?" Glass of water. That was the first thing I could thought of to make them get out the room. Then I realized how idiot the idea was. You din't needed 2 people for a glass of water. I expected CC to laugh and say something like "Yeah if we both go why don't we bring cake too for this exciting meeting?"

        But to my surprise expression was suspicious for a second, sad for a half of second and then neuter. She jumped from the edge of capsule that she was staying on. "Come Nunnlay," she said casual as they were best friends "I bet you're brother is very thirsty.".

Than until Nunnlay could say a word CC pushed her wheelchair out the room and closed the door.

        I turned to Suzaku "I'm ready." Even thou he was wearing a mask his surprise was obvious. "So you aren't going to blame me or something?" I smiled in a situation like this that way of thinking was typical to Suzaku.  "No I won't. But for now let's hurry. CC and Nunnlay can come back any moment." I started walking towards the capsule. Than I stopped realizing that I should say something more "This is goodbye Suzaku."

        "So you're really gonna do this?"

        "Yeah, to the word I'm already dead after all." I was now in the front of capsule. For the last time I looked behind me to see Suzaku and smiled. This was my punishment lot hard to bear then death. And I accepted it. The edge was higher then I expected so when I got in I almost felt to my knees trying to keep my balance. Than I just crouched there waiting for the cover to close. suddenly a voice said.

        "Brother!" Nunnly was staying there with a pleading expression on her face. CC wase't with her but Sayko was there instead. Probably the 2nd footsteps pattern belonged to her. "Brother, I told you, it's not fair! Always deciding thing to do on you're own, not telling me what you do... It's not fair brother! Don't leave me alone anymore." The tears that were running down her face made me feel even guilder for what I was going to do. "Nunnaly... thank you for that words. But here you saying that is enough for me."  I smiled week. "DO IT NOW SUZAKU!" My scream surprised everyone but Suzaku quickly pressed the button and the lid began to close.

        Nunnaly's scream was the last thing I heard till the darkness enveloped me. There was however a thing that I was concerned about : Where did CC go?

        But now I coulden't do any thing more. I was sealed here for eternity.

        My rebellion is over, for now if my requiem sound's through the world neither I or the Code are needed any further for as long as the peace remains unbroken.  That's what I was thinking of when a deafening click opened my metal grave and let a painfully light to flood it.
