I stay outside until I watch all your lights go off. I just watched you, cry, for hours. She isn't worth your tears Zoe. She was a waste of space that somebody needed to deal with. The brisk autumn air swished across my face as I wipe a tear of frustration off my face. I couldn't do anything about her. And I just wanted to make sure that you never felt any type of pain ever.
I headed home.
Opening up my laptop to find your profile still there. I clicked on your profile picture. Gorgeous long, light brown curls, all pushed to one side. Standing on a beach, that is tagged as "Miami Beach" from 6 months ago. You must love to travel Zoe. That's all your pictures are about, all of these different destinations that you have experienced. Each picture with a wonderful smile.
I can't help to notice that you're beach picture is you, in a obviously two sizes too small bikini. The way the strings wrap around your rib cage, reminds me of the ways a noose would wrap around somebody's neck. Tight. Smooth. Squeezing the skin to the point it changes colour. The suffocation your ribs and breast must feel in that. No, no, no. We aren't going there. You are pure and innocent. You would never want somebody to think of you like that, would you Zoe?
The way your standing with your hip pushed out to one side, the way way your purposely turned to the side so people can see everything. You do want to be looked at like that. Okay, I'm biting.I have a whole new surprise for when I see you next.
April 1/06
It's been a whole week since we met Zoe. Do you still think about me like I think about you? Do you dream about us being together.
I know it's Wednesday. It's cafè day.
I sit at a table far enough away from everybody that you can't see me but I can still hear you. It's me, you and another table. Cailey just won't shut the fuck up about how her dad cut her credit card off. Hunny, your 20 something. Get a damn life. Daddy can't pay for everything. I can't help but laugh at her for the amount of obnoxious, ridiculous shit that comes out of her as if she took a laxative for her mouth. They ask if you are coming along and you stay behind. As if your waiting for something or maybe someone.
They leave and you nod at the barista to watch your things as you leave to the bathroom. There's your phone. All you secrets hidden inside. Everything I need to know about you. Inside this little device.
Well, I have a smaller device to give me all of that information. The barista turns his head. This is my chance. I slowly walk over to your table and take your case and back off your phone, remove the battery and insert a small chip underneath it. Your phone resets. I have 100 seconds.
10, 13, 22... it's taking too long. I'm going to get caught.
45, 47, 53... I put everything back together and just watch the screen as it loads up again.
78, 85, could this take any damn longer, oh my god!
95, 96, 97...
————————————————————————-This suspense is killing isn't it? Well, guess you'll just have to stay tuned won't you
