Syd's back!
Our story picks back up in February of 1970, nearly 2 years after "The Madcap Laughs" ended. How is he doing? Is he still sober? Will Syd and Jenny reunite? Is Syd bitter towards the Floyd? All these questions and so many more will be answered.
Once again, this story is written so that each chapter contains events that could have inspired the song on the album "Barrett" of the same name. The songs are as follows:

I'm doing something I've never done before- posting before I've finished writing the story, so at this moment, very little is set in stone and subject to change at any moment. I could split up a song into several parts...who knows?
I read somewhere that Effervescing Elephant was the first written (when Syd was 16) and last recorded, so I may put part 1 of it at the beginning of the story, and part 2 where it sits on the album.
I've been thinking about doing this for a while, and to be honest, I'm terrified. I hope you'll enjoy it. The purpose of this note, in case you were wondering, was to force myself to work on it and to tell you that it is coming. Soon. I hope. :p
