Yoongi sighed and closed his eyes to Jimin's yelling. Feeling a knot in his chest, his frown morphed into a pained grimace. The sensation appeared to pull him forward. His warped surroundings tunneled, moving rapidly past him until they looked very much like the bright white glow of stars. Motion sickness twisted at his stomach. It wasn't the first migraine Jimin had ever given him, but Yoongi had to give him credit for it being the weirdest. First, he registered the absence of Jimin's incessant bawling: It was suddenly strangely quiet. Then he opened his eyes, blinking to ward off a strong dose of déjà vu. It took him a second before he realized something was very wrong.

Only a moment ago he was in the midst of a heated argument with Park Jimin in the kitchen. Nagging seemed to be Jimin's default setting when communicating with him. For years, Jimin had pointed out when Yoongi spent his nights locked away in his studio tweaking sound files that refused to adjust to his expected level of perfection. Frustration already hung heavy on his shoulders each time he let himself into the dorm with the dawn of another day. Avoidance wasn't an option since the path to his room took him directly through the kitchen where he knew Jimin would be waiting, ready to force breakfast into his face and make his ears ring from yet another scolding. As the years passed the scolding sharpened with words left unspoken. It was the very reason he had purchased his own place in the UN Village months before. Like an idiot he had come there that evening expecting to slip in undetected for an adaptor he had forgotten. That was when all hell broke loose. Jimin was in the kitchen, stirring a pot of kimchi stew, humming along to some old ballad playing on the dorm's speaker system. He greeted Yoongi in an unusual small smile and hope in his eyes, but Yoongi was too used to their spats. His defenses immediately went up. It was as if the disappearance of Jimin's tiny attempt at optimism threw fuel on the flames of their fight. The intensity was magnificent.

Despite all of that, he'd give anything to be in that kitchen where he could turn and run for the front door because now he was somewhere it was impossible to be. True, he was flat on his back in his own bedroom, only that wasn't exactly right. This was his old bedroom, in his old dorm. He blinked again, eyes shutting briefly for a moment's respite from his displacement in space and time. Thoughts scrambled around as they tried to comprehend the situation, figuring out scenarios in which this could be possible. Out of habit, he swept his hand under his pillow to check the time on his phone, grasping for anything that might make sense. And though the time seemed right, the date below it was very wrong. 15.02.13... 2015? Yoongi went into his settings to see if he could adjust the one little thing to what he knew to be true.
