The Winning Shot

A/N: Sorry I know I said around 2:05 I got distracted anyway enjoy

"Woooo, go TJ!" TJ had just shot a basket I didn't know how many points he had just gotten I just knew it was good. TJ had a huge smile on his face once he made the basket I think the score was 30 to 25. I looked at the clock and saw that there were two more minutes of the game but two minutes in sports felt like hours to me.

"I'm hungry, I'm gonna go get some chips" Buffy handed me a dollar her eyes still on the game.

"Can you get me chips too?" I took the dollar and got up to go to the vending machine. I approached the vending machine and put the dollar in getting chips I put the other dollar in watching the machine do its work then the chips got stuck.

"Ugh stupid machine" I kicked the machines out of frustration and instantly regretted it.

"Ow!"

"Need help muffin?" I looked behind me and saw TJ, he was all sweaty. I was happy to see him and that smile on his face.

"The machine didn't drop the dumb chips" TJ smirked walked up to the machine and kicked it and I saw the chips fall. I smiled as TJ handed the me the chips.

"So why aren't you playing?" I gave TJ a questioning look as we sat down.

"Someone on the other team twisted their ankle so they called a time out" We both heard the loud buzzer signaling the players the time out was over I was a little sad that meant TJ had to go.

"Hey, tell you what. Next shot I make is for you." My heart was fluttering after he said that. He was really gonna make a basket for me wow. I went back to the bleachers handing Buffy her the bag of chips.

"Hey we still have 30" I gave a cheerfully tone but than Buffy interrupted my celebration.

"Cyrus you know they have 30 right we have 28"Oh well we can still win we've still got, I looked over at the clock to see the time and saw the time.

"Ten seconds!" I watched as TJ dribbled the ball down the court and looked back at the clock I've never been more interested in a basketball game before. 

"All TJ needs to do is shoot a three pointer and they win. Hey, I said something baskebally"I looked at the clock the read 5.21, I then looked at TJ as he shot and he shot the ball from the three point line. It was like one of the moments in movies were everything went in slow motion. I watched anxiously as the ball  swished in the hoop, the crowd cheered and the buzzer rang then I realized.

"That shot was for me"

I smiled hard and didn't even realize that TJ had walked up to me. He tapped me on the shoulder with a bright smile on his face.

"That was for you"

Andi and I were sitting in the Andi shack just talking about TV when all of a sudden I got an idea.

"Hey Andi can I make a bracelet" Andi looked at me a little shocked, and then a smile grew on her face. I hadn't really made anything like that because it was Andi's thing but I wanted to give it a try.

"Yeah, of course you can" Andi pulled out a draw filled with colorful strings and another with beads it looked beautiful. It took a while of messing up and getting frustrated but with the help of Andi I put the bracelet on my wrist it hung down a little but it didn't bother me because it wasn't for me.

I was sitting in history class waiting for TJ anxiously tapping my fingers on the desk staring at the door. I couldn't concentrate on my work with the thoughts of TJ not being in class. I decided to start my work and not even a second after TJ walled the door as i saw that cute smile on his face I felt my face grow a grin.

"Hey, sorry I'm late Mr.Doverman. I was getting breakfast" Mr.Doverman gave TJ a reassuring nod as TJ took his seat.

"Alright class pop quiz class" Everybody groaned as the teacher passed out the test. I looked over at TJ who had a worried expression on his face. He kept tapping his foot I gave him a light smile trying to ease his nerves.

"You'll do fine" I mouthed to TJ giving him a thumbs ups, he gave me a warm smile back. The pop quiz was only twelve questions. I had finished early and decided to just doodle in my notebook. Everybody had finished their test early so the teacher gave us permission to talk, TJ put a brown bag on my desk and I opened to see a chocolate chocolate chip muffin.

"Thanks TJ"

"No problem underdog" I smiled at the nickname he gave me and closed the bag so I could eat the mouth watering muffin.

"Hey I acual-" I was cut off by the bell ringing and the sound of people yelling in the hallway. I packed my stuff in my bag as TJ did the same and we headed to art class.

"Hey, after school Andi and I are going to the spoon. Wanna join us?" TJ smiled as we walked through the classroom doors and took our seats. I always got nervous asking TJ if he wanted to go somewhere even if it was with other friends.

"Yeah sure sounds cool"

"Also, Andi, Buffy and I have like these befriend bracelets so um... I made you one.

I took the loose bracelet of my wrist and handed it to TJ. I could feel my nerves jumping at me, what if he didn't want it, what if he thinks its stupid.

"Thanks Underdog, this is really cool" TJ gave me the cutest smile as he put the bracelet on and I couldn't help but blush a little.
